Palm Key Village Vacation Rental bungalow

This was an ideal location for our family of four including two 10 and 11 year old boys. Disney World theme parks are truly only a 25 minute drive, unless you are leaving the theme parks at the same time as all the other thousands of cars. Then it may take longer. The price was incredibly affordable and everything you needed was available in the house. Having laundry facilities was great as we could have clean clothes whenever we wanted. Kitchen table was a bit small, but we really only ate breakfast here. We packed lunches in a cooler (which we left behind for other guests). Grocery store was no more than a 5 minute drive. Pick any direction and you could always find a good restaurant to eat at within a 10 or 15 minute drive. We always tried to eat at a different place every night and were not ever disappointed. We spent 12 days here and had great restful nights each time. 8 of our days were spent at Disney World theme parks. One day we drove a couple of hours south past Tampa to Siesta Key Beach. This was a fantastic experience of a nice white sandy beach on the Gulf of Mexico. After a nice day at the beach, we were still back home by around 8pm after stopping for supper. Another day was spent visiting Gatorland about a 45 minute drive away. Finally, we took another day and drove 1 to 1.5 hours to visit the Kennedy Space Center and Cocoa Beach. We were never disappointed. Sure, you can probably stay in a Disney Resort with pools and restaurants, but we found this place a nice location away from all the hustle and bustle of Disney and the resorts. It was quiet and peaceful and a nice place to take a stroll in the evening to wind down. Would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to do Disney World and Florida on a reasonable budget.

I was in summer 2008 (June) for 3 weeks at Florida, and for one week in this home. I was here with my best friend for visiting his sister, which was working at a parc of Disney. About 30/40 minutes with the car is disney, in the neighbourhood a lot of supermarkets and at downtown Orlando are enough possibility's for going out! We had a great time at an very quiet Palm Key Village!

we are a family of five and found everything about this was brilliant. the space and amenities of the house were excellent and up to a high standard. the pool and tennis court on the estate were immaculate and easily got to from property (2 min) walk. the location was great approx 10 mins from disney, we actually came home from magic kingdom for a couple of hours and then went back for the night time show. International drive was about a 25 min drive which did not feel like that at all as the interstate was very easily accessible.the 192 with over 100 shops and restaurants was only about 5 mins drive. we would definately rebook this property and hope to be doing so for 2009 asap. i would recomment this property to anyone but would stress that you will nedd a car to fully enjoy everything that orland and kissimmee have to offer
