This 4 bedroom 2 bathroom villa (sleeps 8) is located in the quiet community of Greater Groves on Highway 27 near to Walt Disney World (8 miles - 20 minutes - from Animal Kingdom).
The villa has a fully-fitted kitchen, lounge area, a luxury master bedroom with large ensuite, two further double bedrooms, a twin and the house bathroom. A highlight of the villa is the pool, which is 32ft by 14ft, free form, very private and south-facing, capturing the sun all day.
When you need a break from the glorious sunshine there is an HD TV (100+ cable channels), a DVD player that plays both US and UK discs and a US Playstation2 (with games). There is also FREE wireless broadband internet (10Mb) and FREE telephone calls nationwide to US and Canada.
We are within walking distance of a newly-opened Publix supermarket and less than 5 minutes drive from a Wal*Mart Supercenter, local restaurants and take-outs.
Golf: The immediate Orlando area boasts over 25 golf courses including Greg Norman's Champions Gate course which is also home to the David Leadbetter Golf Academy, a mere 15 minutes drive from Greater Groves.
Even closer, and more affordable, are the courses of Legends Golf and Country Club, Orange Lake Golf Club (one course designed by Arnold Palmer) and Highlands Reserve Golf Club. If you fancy honing your short game there are also plenty of challenging 'Executive Par 3' courses, notably at Kings Ridge and Polo Park (both 10 mins away). A fabulous golfing resource right on your doorstep. And do not forget the Walt Disney World championship courses - its not often you get the opportunity to chip out of bunkers shaped like mouse ears!

On Your Doorstep: Our villa is in Greater Groves, a quiet residential community on Highway 27 about 2 miles north of the junction with the US192, to the west of Orlando close to Walt Disney World. This handily located and up-and-coming area makes an ideal base from which to visit the sights and sounds of central Florida.
The community is still largely comprised of resident homeowners with the iconic yellow buses trundling through its streets each morning to collect the local schoolchildren.
The community is complete and has a large recreational area at its heart. This contains two tennis courts, a basketball court, a large grassy play area, a children's playground and a large communal pool with covered seating area (all available to guests at the villa).
As well as the supermarkets and restaurants nearby there are also gas stations, small shopping plazas (including small independent shops such as a bakery and an ice-cream parlour as well as Subway and Starbucks), a gym and a drop-in medical centre - all within 5 mins
Expansion of Local Amenities: This area west of Walt Disney World has seen a high level of investment in local amenities over the last 5 years, especially along the US 27 from the junction with the 192 north towards Clermont. The highway itself was widened and several new light-controlled junctions to the existing neighborhoods were installed to aid road safety. Several major retailers have established new stores (e.g. Wal*Mart, Publix and Lowe's) as well as new branches of banks and fast food outlets. The new neighborhoods that have fed this expansion have brought with them additional facilities such as a public library and new medical establishments. It is a growing residential area and businesses are investing to meet local demand - which is all good news for vacationers! Recently opened restaurants locally include famous chain names such as Chilis, Santa Fe Cattle Co, Longhorn Steak House, Bahama Breeze and Olive Garden.
