** A cracking holiday villa that is real value for money ** This 4 bedroom 2 bathroom villa (sleeps 8) is located in the quiet community of Greater Groves on Highway 27 near to Walt Disney World (8 miles - 15 minutes - from Animal Kingdom). The villa has a fully-fitted kitchen, lounge area, a master bedroom with large ensuite, two further double bedrooms, a twin and the house bathroom. The pool is 30ft by 14ft, free form, very private and south-facing, capturing the sun all day. Cable TV is provided (70+ channels) in the lounge and master bedroom and there is a DVD player that plays UK discs (with films provided) and a US Playstation2 (with games) in the lounge. We are less than 5 minutes from a Wal*Mart Super center and local restaurants and the nearest golf course (Kings Ridge) is 12 minutes away. Our villa is rented out through Virgin Holidays during the main UK holiday periods and the income from those rentals allows us to be very competitive for the remaining weeks.

Location: Clermont Area < Disney / Orlando < Florida < USA

Located on Hwy 27 west of Orlando. Close to Disney (8 miles from Animal Kingdom) and within easy reach of all attractions including Universal Studios, SeaWorld, Cypress Gardens and Busch Gardens (Tampa). Popular area with lots of new restaurants and shops. The whole of Orlando on your doorstep but on a quiet residential neighbourhood. There is a large communal pool, tennis courts and a kids playground within walking distance of the villa.

Golf: The immediate Orlando area boasts over 25 golf courses including Greg Norman's Champions Gate course which is also home to the David Leadbetter Golf Academy, a mere 15 minutes drive from Greater Groves. Even closer, and more affordable, are the courses of Legends Golf and Country Club, Orange Lake Golf Club (one course designed by Arnold Palmer) and Highlands Reserve Golf Club. A fabulous golfing resource right on your doorstep. And do not forget the 5 Walt Disney World championship courses - its not often you get the opportunity to chip out of bunkers shaped like mouse ears! With a myriad of golf courses so close to Greater Groves there is no need to pay the high costs of on-course accommodation. Our Villa gives you the space to unwind and relax in a private pool after a good days golf. Great times to visit are between New Year and Easter and September to October half-term. It is not blisteringly hot when you are out on the course but warm enough to enjoy the walk!

The Local Area: Our villa is in Greater Groves, a quiet residential community on Highway 27 about 2 miles north of the junction with the US192, to the west of Orlando close to Walt Disney World. This handily located and up-and-coming area makes an ideal base from which to visit the sights and sounds of central Florida. The community is still largely comprised of resident homeowners with the iconic yellow buses trundling through its streets each morning to collect the local schoolchildren. The community is complete and has a large recreational area at its heart. This contains two tennis courts, a basketball court, a large grassy play area, a children's playground and a large communal pool with covered seating area. There is a Wal*Mart superstore within a couple of minutes drive of the villa which sells almost everything you could need for your holiday along with a variety of restaurants, fast food outlets, pharmacies, small shopping plazas and a drop in medical centre - all within 5 mins.

This was the first time that we stayed in a villa as we normally stay in a hotel, but as our four kids are getting bigger and needing more personal space we thought that we would go for a villa. We stayed for three weeks in January/February 2009 and found the villa to be very spacious and very, very clean and fully equiped. Great location, 20 mins to Disney, and 40 mins to Universal.
Not even 5 mins to local grocery store, drug store, gas station, and restaurants. A comfortable home to return to after visiting the local attractions. When we are visiting Florida again we will definitely be getting in touch with Mike to rent the villa again, he was very accommodating
and a pleasure to correspond with. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone.

Great Villa, Great Location!

This is a lovely villa, in a convenient location for a fun packed holiday in Orlando. It was exactly as described and was clean, well maintained with a few luxurious touches that make you feel especially welcome. The owner went out of his way to provide all the information we needed to make the most of our holiday. If we had the opportunity to return we would definitely stay in this villa again. You do need a car, but you are only a few minutes from the nearest supermarket and all the major restaurant chains. You have so many different Theme Parks but would recommend Busch Gardens and SeaWorld, being the best value for money. The swimming pool is a must to cool off and relax when returning from the various attractions, but would recommend heating if you are travelling in April :). We had a fabulous holiday!

An absolutely beautiful villa

We have stayed at this villa a few times and those times were the most relaxing holidays we had. The location is perfect and the villa is spacious. I would not hesitate in recommending this villa and we will definitely be going back in the future. We have been holidaying in Florida since 1992 and have stayed at various different villas, but this is definitely No. 1 for us.
