Firstly, this was our first holiday to the USA as a family of six, we had a great stay and a great time, this was excellently supplemented by our choice of accommodation. The house was like a Tardis. Right in the heart of everything and walking distance from Old Town. The house was extremely well maintained and presented, very clean, and had everything you could want or need. I would not hesitate to recommend it to others. The communal swimming pool was also very good, like a bath and it even had a small lazy river with a security guard on hand at all times. We are a large family and easily fitted in. The standard of fittings and fixtures were top notch. Rubbish was collected daily, there was always someone about cleaning or tidying and everyone was polite and welcoming. I felt safe and secure throughout the holiday which was important to me.
The Blue Ribbon management company we booked through were very helpful and were always on the end of the phone to sort out any small snags, I would definitely use both the company and the house again if I was travelling to Kissimee.
There was a Publix supermarket two minutes away for all your food shopping needs.
Restaurants were a plenty and most were either walking distance or a short ride. We tried Applebbees, Ruby Tuesday, Smoky Bones, TGI's, Kobo, HOPI. There is also a Pizzahut nearby, Tacobell, Checkers. The list just goes on. All the main attractions are no more than 20 minutes away, including Disney, Universal, Sea World, Wet & Wild, Premium Outlets, and the large shopping Malls.
We hired a basic Dodge People carrier from Thrifty, it also had everything you needed, and was almost brand new, we added a SatNav and a Toll Pass, well worth the extra money, this got us where we wanted to go and on toll roads you used the fast lanes and did not have to stop.
