Harwich - Harwichport Vacation Rental house

Beach House lived up to and in a lot of repects exceeded our expectations. Descriptions were spot on.Lovely welcome basket of fruit and cranberry loaf.The house was clean,spacious and well equipped.Plenty of towels and bedlinen- all fresh and clean. The table tennis table was a bonus and much used.Being Brits I suppose an electric kettle may have been useful and an extra couple of fans in the absence of air con as we were blessed with excellent weather making the house quite hot at times.(Not complaining!) Owner's representative's anticipation of and attention to our needs was much appreciated. The pre-visit guide was invaluable.BBQ was excellent.We would ceratinly recommend this property to friends.There is lots to do and we only had a week. The guides and leaflets left were very helpful. The beach close to the house was clean,and scenic.We enjoyed whalewatching from Provincetown,cycling the Cape Cod trail from Brewster to CoastGuard Beach- incredible spot. Loved Chatham itself- enjoyed the shops.Food market excellent here.Tended to lunch out and BBq in the evening.Had friendly helpful service everywhere we went.Would suggest packing extra insect bite cream as although we had been advised about the ticks etc we were troubled by them inititally, although quickly adapted! This was a perfect escape for us especially having had a busy time exploring Boston the previous week- recommend this combination too-and gave us a real taste of the Cod. Definitely will return.Real home from home and I can't speak highly enough of the vacation representative's attention to detail.
