Casa Playa is one of the truly outstanding homes in Los Cabos, this ocean front home has steps down to the semi-private beaches of Palmilla with views out over the Sea of Cortex to Punta Gorda. The actual area it is in is known as Caleta Palmilla, Caleta means 'little coves' and once you are walking the beaches you appreciate how appropriate the name is. The entry to the house from the street is down some steps to an impressive front door. From the entrance a central stairway leads down to the central great room. The decor and architecture is Spanish Colonial like many of the finer homes in Palmilla with vaulted ceilings, natural stone wall, and Cantera columns the great room with transport you, seemingly, to another era. The stone floors and use of Mexican tile not only beautifully finish the house but are also practical to keep the home cool. The hand made ceramic tiles can be found in the bathrooms. The master bathroom also includes an oversized Jacuzzi tub and indoor/outdoor shower. The master bedroom attached has a 4-poster king bed, large screen TV and opens onto a terrace with great ocean views. The second master also has a king and its bathroom opens into the bedroom with the Jacuzzi tub having shutters for privacy if wished. The level below are 2 more bedrooms, or guest rooms. Each has a king and twin day bed in them, they also have ocean views and their own bathrooms. The third bedroom beyond these has 2 kings and 2 in-built twin beds, the suite also has a TV and DVD player and its own bathroom. The sixth bedroom has a separate entrance and is furnished with a raised king bed, there is a large screen TV, kitchenette, and private bathroom.
