The house is only a five minute drive to the pretty village of Le Croisty which has all the necessary shops and services, banks, small supermarket etc. and also an excellent Artisan Boulangerie and Charcuterie both of which are well worth a visit! The nearest town (less than 10 minutes away) is Le Faouet famous for it's 16th Century Market Hall and close to the beautiful medieval chapel of St. Barbe, there's a great little bar here selling local beer & cider! The lake at Priziac offers watersports ( there is a small sandy beach offering safe swimming for children) lovely walks and a little cafe. Most of the surrounding villages have a restaurant, creperie and or pizzaeria and there is an excellent routier restaurant/ bar less than a mile away, Le Croix des Nations, which offers a fabulous Plat de Jour. The Valley Du Scorff (15 minute drive) has beautiful walks along the river and up into the hills. The coast is an easy 25 mins drive away with many lovely beaches.
