Beautiful House in Perfect Location

The moment we walked in to this beautifully decorated, well maintained house, we felt right at home and safe. This house has everything you could wish for to suit a large family. We spent a week here with our three children aged 9, 15 and 17. The kitchen is fully-equipped, the bedrooms are all large and very comfortable. All the rooms are spacious and well designed. There is an upstairs sitting room, perfect for quiet times and a downstairs playroom with lots of games and things to keep the children entertained. The garden is small and safe for young children.
The house also had fast Wifi, which was really important to us, and lots of TV channels for the evenings.
It was ideally located to explore this fabulous and diverse city. Avila Street is very quiet and peaceful, but from the house, its a 5 minute walk to Chestnut Street with all its interesting shops and plenty of restaurants (and a small supermarket). There is a larger supermarket just a few blocks away.
We rented a car from day 1 (there is easy parking in front of the house) which, although not necessary, was really useful to get around the city and further afield (such as Muir Woods - with the Giant Redwoods!). Alcatraz was also excellent - but you definitely HAVE to book in advance. The whole city was fantastic with lots to do, and there is plenty of ways of getting about if you don't have a car as the city isn't too massive and sprawling and the public transport system seems pretty good!
Having searched extensively for the right property in San Francisco, when we next visit, there is nowhere else we would want to stay!! Thank you so much to the owner for all your help and great suggestions before and during our stay.
