This place was exactly as described. Cozy and quaint. Extremely convenient with great access to the subway or walking to everywhere like Empire State building and Times Square. Quiet retreat after a busy day. Even though the kitchen is small it is very workable and clean and bright. It was a tad warm but windows do open. The studio was very clean and the doorman adds extra security.
Amazing view from the roof top deck of the building(17th floor) the owner Fred met us and was very friendly and offered good advice and answered questions. Wireless internet was a bonus.
The only negative was the smell of smoking in the hallways. We would stay here again and do recommend it.

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Just want to clarify a small detail as we are both non-smokers and that we never felt like the hallway leading to the apartment or the building itself was smelling of cigarette smoke. It might have been that a neighbor was smoking in his own apartment and happened to exit his apartment at the same time you might have come home or were leaving. That can happen in any apartment building. Furthermost I would like to emphasize that this is a - Non-Smoker - apartment. Also want to say to future guests that you can control the heating from the inside of the studio and that opening the windows to cool down is only an option.
We are glad that you had a good time in the apartment in any case and hope to see you again. Again, thank you for the praises!
Fred & Lana
