We enjoyed our stay at this comfortable, well equipped condo and would rent again. The lanai was such a pleasant place to watch all the ocean activities and the saltwater pool was wonderful. The common area was a great gathering spot.

Our stay was a very comfortable one. We throughly enjoyed the condo, the unit, and the location. Being able to see whales from the deck was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, just what we needed. The unit was well appointed and the grounds were lovely. We would definitely recommend this propery.

We had an excellent stay at Casa De Emdeko. It was centrally located on the west coast of the Big Island, which allowed us easy access to snorkeling spots up and down the coast. The area markets were delightful in their offerings, the kitchen was well supplied (and we cooked in frequently!), the furnishings tasteful and very comfy, and mornings and evenings enjoying the view and ambiance from the unit's lanai was just right. Ahhh . . .
FYI - The abundance of ocean life in this area at this time of year is awesome! LOTS of dolphins, whales, manta rays, sea turtles, and reef fish galore. We'll be back! ;-)

Casa De Emdeko ...Wonderful!

Great location, very close to Kona, within walking distance to the restaurants and shopping. Almost oceanside with a nice view of the ocean over the swimming pool. Great facilities... barbeque, 2 pools, beautiful courtyard, large Lanai with fans and lights to sunbathe, curl up and read or just relax and enjoy your meals on. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms for privacy and convenience. Full kitchen and large living area.. it was wonderful!
The unit is on the second floor and only steps away from the ocean edge where we watched turtles, boats and huge waves crash on shore. A short walk on the beach affords a view of the resort perched on the edge of the water and gets you away from everything else. The beach is composed of volcanic rock and there is not a lot of sand but the fresh and salt water pools have everything you need to get in and enjoy the water. All you would expect and need to enjoy your vesit to Hawaii.

My wife and I along with another couple shared the condo for ten days in april 2012,

Ny wife and I have long planned to travel to Hawaii but my work did not allow this dream to become reality until my recent retirement. My wife booked the condo based on advise of her sister who along with her parents had stayed in this condo complex on several vacations and thoroughly enjoyed it. Having stayed in many motels and hotels but never a condo I was apprehensive as what to expect especially since this was a long looked forward to vacation. As soon as we arrived on site I was impressed to be able to see and hear the ocean it was right there. When I opened the door to the condo I was completely taken back at how well it was furnished and tastefully decorated. There was nothing lacking all we had to do was purchase the groceries we required for our stay. The first morning we were able to sit on the lanai watch the ocean enjoy the beauty of the local flora, birds and fish clearly visible in the blue ocean water. We relaxed took in the sun a spent time in the lovely swimming pools.The common area for BBQ'ing is awesome with an ocean front view. Access to the town with all its anemities is very comfortably close with in a easey walk or very short drive. Our holiday was a wonderful experience one that we hope to repeat with in the next two years. You could snorkel right ther or take a 5 minute drive to a local bay area that offers snorkel equipment rental in a very safe setting and the fish and correl viewing are beyond words. Yes we are a pair of land locked individuals from the great white north who were totally impressed. No problems encountered what so ever. this is an awesome place that I have already recommend to friends back here at home..
