Relaxing Beachfront Vacation Spot

We stayed in unit A 2 the last week of Sept 2012.
The location is good for walking into town.
The unit itself we felt needed some TLC.
The landscaping was very lush and well tended.
The pool was well maintained but missing quite a few tiles.
The beach was nice but the tractor for cleaning up seaweed was broken and there was 2 feet of sea weed to walk through to get into the ocean.
The complex was quiet and peaceful.

It was a pleasure staying in Lynn's beautiful oceanfront condo. It was everything that we expected and more. Lynn was great to deal with and Roberto and Selene were very helpful and friendly.
It is clean and had all the amenities needed to make it a great stay for our family of 4, and nana too. We have a 2 year old and a 5 month old baby. The pool is great and the view is spectacular. The beach is perfect and the ocean is so warm. There is always a nice breeze which made the a/c unneccesary, though it was perfectly hot.
One of the things that made it so nice and home-like is that there is lots of good stuff in the kitchen, like knives, pots and pans, etc. People can actually cook there very easily, and like us, people must buy stuff and not use it all, so there are things there like salt and pepper, coffee filters, the basics, and you're not starting from scratch. There is also nice artwork and the linens are good quality. The beds are very comfortable and firm.
The town centre is about a 10 minute walk, but there is a phone that you can pick up that goes directly to the taxis, which are there before you can hang up the phone. The colonia is about 2 kms away and has a great fruit and veggie market called "Chulim". You can also buy fresh chicken, cheese, eggs, dairy and dried goods there.There is a big supermarket type store across the street with a bank machine. It costs less than $2 each way. People are very friendly and we always felt safe. There are lots of good restaurants too.
We went to the Botanical garden and enjoyed that very much. There are a few kms of trails, lots of birds, butterflies, iguanas and of course, trees and plants. There are monkeys which can be seen after 2 in the afternoon, I'm told. We went early in the morning and did not see them.
The snorkelling was great. I could go on and on, but let's just say that I highly recommend it. This condo is perfectly situated in this small complex of maybe 16 units.

I have been to Puerto Morelos 5 times and have spent 3 of those at Casita Blanca. I have always had a wonderful experience. The condo is clean and well equipped. The gardens are beautiful and the ocean is just outside. Roberto and his family are wonderful managers and will assist with whatever is needed. Puerto Morelos is only a short walk down the beach. I can't wait to go again.
