4 bed villa with private pool ,short walk from beautiful maenam beach

This is a unique opportunity to stay in one of the few privately owned villas on the celebrated 'Kirikayan' resort in Maenam, at a fraction of the published price.

The resort opened mid 2008 and is already attracting exceptional reviews on Tripadvisor as one of Samui's newest boutique villa resorts.

Our villa is the largest type available at 320 sqm and consists of 2 seperate villas surrounding a private infinity style pool and sala. The main building accomodates a large lounge/dining room with 42' plasma tv/dvd and a fully equiped kitcen/utility and cloakroom.

The second villa has 2 large downstairs bedrooms with superkingsize beds and ensuite shower/ jacuzzi rooms. Upstairs is the master bedroom with shower and jacuzzi, an additional 4th bedroom with 2 single beds and bar area and fridge. TVs in all rooms.

Located a short walk from Maenam beach, the villa is situated in an exclusive resort set amidst coconut palms in the hills above the village. There are numerous bars and restaurants nearby and the lively resort of Fishermans village and Chaweng are 5 mins and 15 mins drive away respectively.

The beach here is much quiter than Chaweng and is perfect for families, with breathtaking views of Ko Phangnan.

There is a large Tesco/Lotus supermarket 10 mins drive away,and numerous 7/11s within walking distance,

There are spectacular boat trips available to the marine park and neighbouring islands from Maenam and Bophut piers, offering kayaking and diving/snorkling opportunities.

Santiburi golf course is approximately 5 mins drive away .

There are a wealth of amenities in Kirikayan itself such as huge infinity pool, 'Sankala' restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner (room service and in villa dining available), gym, complimentary wifi, dvd library, business centre and full reception.

Arrived in brilliant sunshine at Kirikayane The photos do no Justis to the wonderful tranquil atmosphere we found, The villa its self was striking, Beautifully decorated with everything you could need and more, Surrounded by a tropical forest we were swimming above the treetops in the adjoining hotel pool listening to the birds and monkeys calling to each other, Oh to be back there now, It is close to everywhere shops temples restaurants and not one bad meal,I want the banana and honey pancakes from the street sellers yum,Cant wait to return,What an adventure.

A great Thai location and fabulous family holiday

We chose this villa as it is part of a resort that had excellent reviews on Tripadvisor and it totally lived up to our high expectations. So many of the private villas are situated in isolated locations on dirt tracks, whereas this resort is a short walk from the beach and is set in beautiful tropical gardens with great views of the hills behind.
The villa itself is modern and tastefully decorated and the set up worked really well for our family. The staff at the resort were all eager to please and it was a big bonus being able to use the fabulous main pool which has the best view I have ever seen whilst swimming , and a daily happy hour at the swim up bar !
The extra upstairs lounge was great for the kids to have their own area for watching dvds from the free dvd library in reception next door, leaving the main lounge free for the adults.It was also very reassuring to have a 24 hr security guard sitting just outside the villa.


We decided to hire a car but there was a shuttle service operated by the hotel to Maenam beach where there are also some great little bars and restaurants.
Chaweng is about a 15 min drive away and is great to visit, but it was always good to come back to the peace and tranquillity of Kirikayan. We will definitely go back if we have the chance.

My family and I travelled to Thailand in October 2008 for our annual holiday. Having never experienced Thailand before I did not really know what to expect. I have to say that this Villa is amazing!! The Accomodation and facilities are nothing short of out of this world! The Villa itself is clean, tastefully decorated and with beautiful views from every window or balcony. It is located within a community of villas up in the hills about 1/2 a mile off the main road in Maenam with 24 hour security, Gym, Health Spa and a superb Restaurant. The villa has it's very own infinity pool which is cleaned every other day by the staff at Kirikayan who quite frankly can't do enough for you. We loved Kirikayan and cant wait to go back.

Our stay at Kirikayan was exactly as we expected, spacious, clean and beautifully decorated throughout, with outstanding views of the forest behind the villa.
The owners did warn us that the resort is not complete but this did not interfere with our stay.We were told by the staff at the resort that the main pool area and appartments will be complete by this summer.
The staff were extremely friendly, and having 24 hour security just a few feet from the villa meant that we could rest assure that our valubles were safe without the need of a safe deposit box.
Clean linen and towels were provided weekly and staff visited the grounds to maintain the pool and ground areas.
There is also a Kirikyan Beach club 2 minutes drive to Maenam beach where the staff provide a minibus service from the resort, beach towels ,and there's a great restaurant next to the beach hut which we highly recommend you try.
We spent most of our trip exploring different beaches but it was also lovely to spend time at the villa relaxing by the pool and ordering room service.
I have no hesitation in recommending this resort to our family and friends....
