Large Beach Studio sleeps 3 with 1 full bathroom w jacuzzi tub with own parking

Studio is done in an upscale 'upper east side Manhattan' style with hardwood floors, custom mahogany built in dressers and desk, rare oil paintings, full kitchen with custom hand rubbed cabinets and granite counters and sills. Double entry doors as well as a large picture window with electronic shutters for sound and light. The studio also has a window in the bathroom and a tall window next to the built in desk.

Bathroom has floor to ceiling marble and tile with whirlpool jacuzzi tub. Outdoor hot and cold running shower for rinse off after beach activity. Single covered parking spot provided which is worth it's weight in gold at the beach.

In the heart of Marina Del Rey near everything. Area hotels charge $30 a night for parking.

Starbucks is half block away along with great restaurants and shops. The Marina fishing pier is less one block away. Bike rentals, surfboard rentals, etc. available right around the corner as bike path all the way up to Malibu starts five houses away.

Location: Five houses off beach on quiet walk street. LAX is 6 miles away for easy drive from airport to beach studio.

Stepss to the Marina's Golden Strand mile long beach as well as being close to Venice, Santa Monica and Malibu beaches. Excellent surfing and body boarding right out front of street.

Studio: Large fully furnished upscale with every comfort including telephone, high speed dsl and cable television on flat panel television. Studio has luxury queen bed with pillowtop mattress, full extension lounge chair, dining table for 4 and an extra pull out single bed. Full kitchen with all plates, silverware, etc. Studio is in a three unit building with double door access for privacy and security. Beautiful exterior with new trex deck with seating for four, wonderfully landscaped garden with cove area to have coffee and read newspaper, pathway through garden to walk street which ends directly on the beach. Upper garden has new trex deck and patio furniture.

Ammenities: Free parking for one auto, free washer and dryer usage, free phone, dsl, cable television and the best one of all the golden strant beach just steps from the front door.

I stayed at the Studio in MDR for about 35 days. I spent months searching for a short/long term rental to use while in town for work. Nancy was fantastic ~ first, as studio's go - this place was set up so well it never, ever felt crowded or like the walls were closing in. It was fantastic - and the day I moved in the studio was immaculate! It was cleaner than some hotels I've stayed in. Everything was clean and fresh smelling. The parking is wonderful and a huge bonus in this area and as a female on her own in town, I felt completely safe in the studio and the area itself. I've taken walks late at night and come home even later and always felt safe.

I've so enjoyed my time at the beach, the area is lovely and calm, very relaxed. Just around the corner are shops, eateries and the ocean. I recommend staying here whether it's for a weekend or a month, you won't be disappointed. Everything about this place is wonderful!! I will be back for certain - thanks Nan for a lovely, lovely time!

Nice unit in a great location -

This studio was perfect for us - very clean and well-maintained unit in a great location. We loved our daily walks to the beach and nearby shops! Even though it's 1/2 block away from shops and restaurants, it's very quiet - we never heard any outside noise. It is not as large as the photos might seem to indicate, but there are 2 large closets and plenty of storage space, so we never felt cramped. Was also nice to have a reserved parking space. The owner provided lots of good information beforehand - including a tip to pack warm clothes... apparently it DOES rain and get chilly in Southern California, so we're glad we were prepared.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing
