3 bedrooms, den, rec room and 1 3/4 baths. Sleeps 6 adults

This 1800 square feet home features a master suite with a king sized bed and 3/4 bath, two bedrooms with queen beds, and a romper room in the basement. There are two twin beds stored in the closet that are perfect for kids! The covered front porch has a hammock with sun shade for all day enjoyment, a table with 4 chairs, a set of four extra chairs and dim-able lighting for a cozy, intimate setting. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dining area for 6 people. The den and rec room both have computers and WiFi access is available. There is a TV, VCR, DVD player with a selection of VHS and DVD movies and TV shows, a stereo, many board games, and a volleyball set that is perfect for the large, flat yard. A charcoal grill is available for grilling on the back deck.

World class windsurfing, kiteboarding, mountain and waterfall hiking trails, wineries, scenic drives, museums, golfing, river cruises and a range water sports of every kind are just some of your many options for recreation and entertainment in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. Downhill & cross country skiing and snowboarding at Mount Hood are about an hour away.

The heart of Stevenson is just a mile down the hill and features a grocery store, great restaurants, specialty shops and community festivals nearly every weekend between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Three natural hot springs spas, several championship golf courses, and numerous fine dining options are also available in Carson, North Bonneville and Hood River.

My husband, 2 yo and I stayed at this beautiful home in STevenson Washington for 3 nights while we went hiking around Columbia Gorge. Location is perfect in terms of proximity to all the scenic areas, and wonderful hikes. This is a beautiful vacation home with 3 bedrooms, 1 study and lots of space and view of the Gorge. Texanna and her family likely use this as their part-time vacation home, as there are many personal touches that you would not find at other vacation rentals. The place is immaculate, and being able to use the washer and dryer is a treat with a 2 yo. Thank you!

Very enjoyable girls get away

We stayed at this house for a few nights in August. Very convenient to all of the sight seeing opportunitites close by. We really enjoyed going to Bonneville Hot Springs and swimming/soaking for a few hours each day. The kitchen is very well equipped. We grilled fresh steelhead from the Columbia River. The only complaint we would have had was that the third bedroom upstairs is occupied by the owners home office furniture and so the third bedroom with queen bed is located in the basement with no bathroom; the beasement smells like a basement. We didn't use it, opting instead to have two people sleep in the king master suite. It would be much more enjoyable if the office furniture were downstairs and the third bedroom was upstairs. Other than that, everything about this house is clean, well kept, nicely decorated and easy to enjoy. Beautiful view!

We really liked the home. It was so cozy and clean. Everything was easy to find. I read on the deck and looked at the marvelous view of water and mountains, magnifecent!! It was quiet and relaxing yet you were close to a nice downtown with good restaurants, waterfalls, hiking trails and white water rafting. We would defintely go back to the incredibly beautiful and awe inspiring states of Oregon and Washington.

Beautiful view, great location, clean, quiet, and comfortable!

My husband and I spent two nights here to do some hiking in the Gorge. The location could not have been more perfect...an easy 15 minute-or-so drive to some of the best hiking in the Gorge including Eagle Creek, Hamilton Mountain, Dog Mountain. Stevenson is also a charming little town, with a nice riverfront walk for strolling after dinner to watch the windsurfers. The house was clean and comfortable, with all amenities as described. We particularly enjoyed lying in the hammock and looking at the beautiful view of the Gorge while drinking tea. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The owners were prompt and responsive with all questions and communications. We plan to come back!
