I can't say enough about our short but beautiful stay in the ownwers retreat - Querencia except that we will surely be back again! If you are looking for a home away from home, this is the place. The views, the fireplaces, the ambience, simply amazing! Such detail and care in the beautiful design and decorations provided our family with a great backdrop to our days skiing. The hot tub was soothing as we looked over the landscape so different and enchanting from our mountain runs! The on-site care taker Yasmin answered any questions we had about the mountains or surroundings! Shannon provided us with all the detail information you would need from grocery shopping to directions! They get 6 stars out of a 5 star rating from our family! The nicest, warmest home short of our own west of the Mississippi!

What a fantastic property with an unbeatable setting. You are so close to town, centrally located for just about anything you might want to do in Taos, but you still feel blissfully "away from it all". Hard to decide which was better, the views from the house, or the house itself. We stayed in the owner's suite and it was decorated SO beautifully! Awesome views from every room. Loved all the patios and especially the one up top on the roof. The house was just immaculate; the owner's have truly thought of everything!! Querencia exceeded our expectations and we would love to return again one day.

From the minute we drove up the hill and turned into the driveway, I knew it was going to be something really special. The adobe house and other attached casitas all sit on a stunningly beautiful property and the view of Taos Mountain is incredible. Every detail of the home is jaw-dropping, from the decor, to the artwork displayed throughout, to the private meditation garden and the kiva fireplace in the master bedroom. Because it was my husbands first time in Taos, sightseeing was necessary, but personally, I would have been content staying in the home the entire weekend! Did I mention the bedroom? Yes, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom accommodating, the fireplace warm, but it's the huge picture window that took my breath away. The window frames up Taos Mountain like a huge painting, so when you wake up in the morning and sit up, it's the first thing you see when you open your eyes. We can't get back there fast enough. Already looking at booking it again in the summer or early fall.
