Built new in 2003, updated in 2011, our home is located in the prestigious Little Tuscany area of Palm Springs. This 2300 square foot architecturally designed home looks out over a private lighted courtyard with heated pool and spa, offering spectacular views of the San Jacinto Mountains.
The spacious great room floor plan, influenced by Crate and Barrel design, is perfect for entertaining and relaxing. A granite counter top kitchen features a cooking island with gas cook top and Jen Air grill, plus bar style seating. Expandable cherry wood dining table provides ample room for eight. The kitchen is totally stocked with utensils, appliances, and abundant cookware, dishware, silverware.
The contemporary living room, including gas log fireplace and queen size sleeper sofa with plush mattress, has a 47' HD TV with DVD. The stereo system with IPod/MP3 input provides musical entertainment. Wireless high speed internet is provided throughout the house and patio ... and free unlimited long distance calling to the U.S., Canada. The two master suites are well furnished and each have their own baths. One (with king size bed), with its own complete entertainment center, opens to the pool and courtyard with full mountain views. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. Both bedrooms now have 32' LED HDTVs.
There is a 'plus room' off the garage that has two twin beds in it (it's detached from the main part of the house and you must go through the garage to access the room. It is air conditioned, has phone and cable TV, but no bath).
There is a single space garage with automatic opener.
Pool service (twice a week) is included. Gardening service is also provided. Maid service is available but is additional.
Our home is located on a quiet residential street within walking distance of several top rated restaurants and nightclubs (The Riviera, Billy Reed's, Rick's, Cowboy Barbecue & Toucans) and it's only a short three minute drive to additional downtown attractions and the Spa Casino in the heart of Palm Springs. Excellent shopping is a short drive away (including the Cabazon Outlets about 15 minutes away and Palm Desert Shopping Center, 20 minutes). We use our home primarily as a vacation rental, so it is maintained in impeccable condition. We have many repeat guests who say they return because of the views, the pool/spa/patio, the layout and quality features of the home, and the location.
Maximum occupancy of six (including children and infants) is strictly enforced. Minimum age for primary renter is 25.

We are a couple in our 50s, recently retired (one a former TV reporter, the other a former real estate agent). In 2008, we sold our home in northern California and moved to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We have kept our 'vacation home' in Palm Springs which we visit on occasion and rent out (as a vacation rental) at other times.

Palm Springs is a popular tourist destination with perfect weather year round. It's a small town with amenities you find in much larger cities. Recreation, shopping, and dining opportunities are abundant, but most of the time it's just cool to hang by the pool.
This is a 2300 square foot custom built home in an established neighborhood. We bought it during construction so we were able to put in all the upgrades and fine details we expect in a home. The layout, with the pool in the front of the house in a private courtyard, provides for some of the most amazing mountain views available at any home we have ever seen in Palm Springs. We are gourmet cooks and because we spend some time in this home, it is completely equipped with all cooking utensils, appliances, pots and pans you would expect in a cook's kitchen.
Near the heart of the desert resort town of Palm Springs, golfing, tennis, hiking, swimming, shopping, site seeing, spa, gambling, gourmet dining, and mingling with the stars. It is all here and within minutes from our contemporary home.
