A rare find on Nantucket Sound, our family summer home was originally built in 1910 and has been lovingly cared for over the years.

The house sits on a double lot, higher than the homes around it, so it has exceptional views and privacy. Meander down to your own private beach on a wooden boardwalk.

There are 7 bedrooms, 4 full baths, and a wonderful oversize living room with outrageous views of Nantucket Sound. Fun features: a captain's walk on the roof, two sunny decks, a screened-in sun room, wet bar, and large first floor suite.

Each bedroom has cross breezes, so no need for air-conditioning! There's also a great old barn...a true carriage house with skylights and ping-pong and foozball tables.

Enjoy all that the Cape has to offer: quaint Osterville Center, the shops and restaurants of Hyannis, and family amusements all within a few minutes drive. The private association tennis court, a quick stroll down the driveway, is also yours to use.

This is a wonderful private estate, perfect for a large family gathering.

Our extended family stayed during July 2012 in this ideal vacation spot. It's a classic Cape Cod home on a secluded cul de sac, with a boardwalk-style path right to a private sandy beach. The beach was perfect for kids, as it's shallow for quite a distance. Inside, there are several pretty bedrooms, a spacious dining room, a great sun porch, several decks, and plenty of comfortable sitting areas. To top it off, the kitchen was fully stocked with lots of dinnerware and everything we needed for cooking, there were plenty of towels and linens, and there was even a great sound system. We very enthusiastically recommend this home and plan to return again next summer!

We've just gotten back to CT, and I wanted to let you know what a wonderful week we had renting your house on the Cape. Thank you so much for sharing your family home with complete strangers. We enjoyed everything about it - THE BEACH!, family charades in the wonderful big living room, quiet reading time in the sunroom, mornings on the tennis court, the rainy day and evening ping pong matches in the barn, swimming in the moonlight in Nantucket Sound, family Scrabble tournaments that lasted late into the evenings... I'm happy to say my 79 year old father emerged the champion of those. We thought the house was just as charming as could be. We've rented numerous times on Martha's Vineyard and a few times on the Outer Banks, but this was the house that stole our hearts. Thanks again for sharing it with our family.
