There will be personal notes and guide to the wineries and dining establishments in the area. The home is artist owned and filled with custom details and color. Each room has art work for the guest to enjoy. Please respect personal belongings and the art, and enjoy the stay. We wish you a wonderful stay in Paso Robles. (Some rooms are securely kept off limits.) The rooms opened to the guests are there for your enjoyment.
  • The rates are set for guests up to six to enjoy. The average night is 250 a night. The kitchen dining area accommodates four and the dining 8. Cookware, coffee maker and some spices are available for your stay. If you would like special food items be available before you arrive, please ask in advance, service charge will be added. Notes: This is a comfortable home that welcomes visitors to the Central Coast. Perfect home for a relaxed visit to the wineries, weekend of golf, sightseeing and dining. We have an award winning Downtown with many unique shops. Not suitable if you have allergies to cats or dogs. Not suitable for elderly who have problems walking (there is a step down to living room and to courtyard.) Not suitable for small children ( all children should be watched and asked not to play on the landscaped slope for reasons of safety and maintenance)

Beautiful Home but Think Twice!

This home is very lovely and centrally located to the wineries in Paso Robles. The kitchen is fully equipped making is very accommodating for you.
I have a few negatives about this property:
1. Wireless did not work at all!
2. Shuttles will not pick you up from a residential property. They only pick up from the hotels and RV park. So i you are planning on going on a wine tour or an event in Paso Robles. A shuttle will not be an option!
3. Lastly, if I knew that the property was still owner occupied when I rented it, I wouldn't have rented it! I believe that complicates the agreement.
Overall, my friends and I had a wonderful time during our stay, however, I do STRONGLY recommend that you do a final walk thru with Linda present!.

Great for wine tasting getaway

This home was perfect for our group - 2 couples, a 5 year old, and an infant. The living area is spacious and comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped and roomy enough for all of the cooks, and the bedrooms are nicely appointed. The artwork throughout the home is beautiful. We are already looking forward to our next visit. The only negative was that the wireless signal was unusable in the living area.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

BEAUTIFUL home!!

My wife and I, along with 3 close friends had the privilege of staying at Linda's home for a long (but not NEARLY long enough) weekend of relaxation and wine tasting. From the moment we walked in, we knew we had made the right decision to stay at this simply beautiful home! The location is very central to all the great wineries in the area and her artwork added real personality to our stay. We look forward to booking this fabulous home again right after the first of the year for some much needed relaxation after the holidays!

We would wholehearrtedly recommend this lovely home to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!!!

Thank you for the wonderful review. I am working on some upgrades as guest stay and I find some needs to be addressed. This spring we will have a gas BBQ as well as the trusty webber, some preferring charcoal and a new out door dining set for dining alfresco. I will let people know via Homeaway and VRBO. (California is really experiencing incredible weather right now!)

Quiet retreat in wine country

The casa in the neighborhood was welcoming, comfortable and nicely appointed. just what the 5 of us were looking for.

Located in a quiet neighborhood not far from anything, the house is large and the gourmet kitchen has 2 ovens. The barbecue is charcoal, so be sure to buy your briquets ahead of time and bring matches or a lighter. We cooked two dinners and two breakfasts in as it was a lovely place to relax, enjoy great meals and listen to music from the eclectic music selection as we sipped the local wines we purchased during the day.

The beds (1 king and 2 queen) are all comfortable and everyone had solid sleeps. The bathrooms are light with good water pressure and fluffy towels.

This is an excellent home for up to three couples - with two couples sharing a bath - or for a family. The artistic touches of the owner's paintings and murals made it unique, along with the various finds from travels around the home.

We appreciated the care that was put into making us feel at home, from the freshly ground coffee to the invitation to use what spices, etc. we needed for our meal prep. This was a wonderful haven in wine country and we hope to reutrn.

This coming spring (2012) we will be putting a gas BBQ and a larger outdoor dining set for my guests to enjoy.
With fall approaching I advise all guests to bring their cameras, the colors are usually spectacular. Also bring coats and sweaters, as well as light clothing. The weather has been unpredictable.
