Accessible and universal design house for rent!

The house is fully furnished with the same amenities as a hotel...but with laundry. All you need is your clothing. The neighborhood is safe with 2 different neighbors being in law enforcement!

The house was remodeled for accessibility: In 2006, this 1000 sf house was completely gutted and remodeled with 70 features of accessible and universal design. From the street, into the house, and throughout the house, you won't see a change in elevation between flooring/ground surfaces exceeding 1/2'. This makes all interior and exterior areas of the property completely accessible.

Customizing to your Renters: The owners of the house also own a local medical supply business. This allows the house to be customized to maximize safety and independence for our renters. An example of this was a Renter in June 2011. The Renter needed an assistive device for toilet transfers so we installed a toilet safety frame. Also, the Renter requested a lift-chair allowing him to easily transfer in/out of a chair. A chair was set up in the living room. The chair was sliding on the wood floors so we installed a rug with a rubber back under the chair.

The house exceeded our expectations.
In a great neighborhood.
Close to the the railroad/subway station.
A couple of good restaurants in the area:
Jilly's Bar & Grill &
Suburban House &
Al Pacino Cafe.
Giant grocery store is open later than others.
The listing description VERY accurate regarding the location, layout, amenities, etc.
The property was clean and well-maintained.
The owner provided EXCELLENT customer service.
I would strongly recommend this property to a friend or relative.
