Lopez Island House Rental Photos and Description
House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6-9)
The house has everything you need to enjoy your time on Lopez. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pans, dishes etc...all you need is the food!
The wrap around deck offers great views of the village, bay and surrounding islands. Relax in the spacious family room. Curl up with a good book in the loft. Warm up near the wood-burning stove. You will feel comfortable and at home here.
The island is the first stop on the Washington Ferry from Anacortes, a pleasant and beautiful 45 minute ride from the mainland. Approximately 15 miles long and eight miles wide, Lopez is home to about 2,200 permanent residents. Despite its small size, you'll find a mix of farmland, forest, coastline and state parks, with many recreational opportunities. You can take a long hike, a bike ride among the rolling hills, visit the local winery, or simply find a quiet spot to read a book. Bicycle rentals are available in town (a short walk) and at the marina about two miles from the house.
The San Juans are renown as a kayak heaven--you can find yourself in the midst of curious seals or even orcas while bald eagles fly overhead. There are several great tour companies on the island (see our links.) You can take a lesson, rent a kayak or join a small group for a three hour tour.
If you visit between May and September, you won't want to miss the Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings, just down the hill from Sunset View House. You may find local produce and meat, handmade soaps, jewelry and assorted arts and crafts.
Also called Take it or Leave it, there is an area to drop off your used treasures for someone else's use. You have two choices...take it or leave it. It is a local gathering.
Note. Base rates listed in the rate sections are for house use up to 4 guests. Guests 5-9 are charged at $20 per person per night.

I love the island. It has a magical pull to it that draws me close. I hope you can experience some of this during your stay!!
Tony purchased this house in 2002
Why Tony chose Lopez Island
The original owners were lovely people. When I first saw the house, it seemed like they built it for me!! It called to me. The open nature, the wood and stone...all things that made it an easy decision have for my family.
What makes this house unique
Secluded and close to the Village at the same time. Modern and quaint.
