Apartment Ariadna (32 m2, ground floor) »»» The comfortable flat is of high standard for demanding guests. It is located centrally close to the main train station, the Market Square, Wawel Castle and the Kazimierz quarter in a traditional town house. This fully-furnished apartment is ideal for short to medium stays. Free WiFi internet included!

It consists of a big room with kitchenette and a bathroom. There is also a terrace overlooking a small yard. The bright green and lemon interior creates a cosy atmosphere. The asset is a spacious 'wooden' bathroom where taking a shower can be an enjoyable experience. In the apartment you can find a convertible sofa bed and a double coconut mattress on the mezzanine. The bedding itself says: 'Sleep tight!'

Currently residing in Chicago, IL USA, I entered the 'apartment to let' business in 2006, as an investment for me in a city I fell in love with, as well as a way to provide employment for my family living in Krakow. I have family across Poland, and try to visit twice a year (of course also to check in on the apartments!).

Aside from the great location, which is both close to everything, and not in the market square which can be noisy; the apartment is beautiful, with tall ceilings, comfortable, with everything needed, and affordable.

Our apartment is in the heart of Krakow, walking distance from practically all the attractions in the city, including: the main square, St. Mary's Basilica, the Sukiennice (cloth market in ancient times, now selling local and regional goods), Kazimierz (the Jewish Quarter), Wawel Castle (the seat of Polish kings for hundreds of years), the Pope John Paul II Center, countless musems (including the new medieval archeological park under the main square!), theaters, cafes, and shops.

Not far (within the Krakow metropolitan area) is the famous Wieliczka Salt Mine, built in the 13th Century, with over 300km of tunnels.

Zakopane, a famous mountain town near hiking, skiing and other outdoor activities, is a 2-3 hour bus ride (110km), with many busses running daily.

There is truly something for everyone!
