On Heart Circle's pristine property, we offer hiking with on-site trails that are completely private- no need to worry about accidentally stumbling upon a neighbor's property! Watch the sunrise over the valleys of redwoods, madrones and oaks filled with rare birds. The Zen Trail offers spectacular ocean, mountain, and valley views, a delightful picnic area nestled under a natural oak arbor and a view of the ocean at its peak. The Waterfall Trail meanders through a redwood forest along a gentle creek amid Big Sur's unique flora and fauna. Relax and enjoy the tranquil pond at the base of the granite waterfall at the trail's end. You won't have to drive anywhere. Of course there are endless possibilities for many adventures in the Ventana wilderness!
Heart Circle's microclimate is unique, a marine influence with inland sun and warmth. Our mid-altitude mountaintop is not too hot like higher ridges and mountains, and not too foggy or cool, like lower altitudes.
The Little Gem Cabin is a cozy and romantic cabin, a beautiful queen sized iron bed with a tempur-pedic mattress, a gorgeous dinning nook w/skylight, wood-burning stove, BBQ, and an exquisite bathroom through french doors with a claw foot steeping tub and full kitchen. The balcony offers a breathtaking view of the valley below and the surrounding forest. Relax on your own little mountaintop terrace filled with flowers and towering, Oaks, Madrones, and Redwood Silent Temples.
The Little Gem is built out of finest materials; plaster walls, tumbled marble, and art glass lighting. The retreat is meticulously cleaned with non/toxic cleansers and is pet dander free. Enjoy the rugged landscape of the outdoors, and escape into the comfort of your private retreat, created by local artists and craftsmen. Drink our fresh artesian spring water, coffee and teas provided. Smell the sweet ocean and mountain air and listen to the birds sing. Gaze at the stars unobstructed by city lights.
