A walkers paradise off Montana Ave in the heart of the best boutique streets in all of LA. Great food, fashion, beauty spas, yoga and cycling. Great perk, garage parking with this cottage.
Walking onto the grounds and through the gardens, you will feel transported to a country garden but only steps to all the great restaurants and shops on Montana Ave. Hardwood floors, high grade furnishings and linens, flat screen TV, DirecTV premium channels, Wifi, private patio with bbq grill. Many many other upscale amenities. Convenient garage parking with entry into the backyard to the backdoor.
Just to let you know we checked out an hour ago, we had a wonderful stay. By the way, in the patio in one of the branches there is a hummingbirds nest in which we saw and witnessed the hatching of two eggs this week, thisnisna picture of the two babies sleeping in their nest. Mamma bird was out. It was interesting watching their progress this week. You may want to remind the gardener that they are there so he doesn't clip any branches. Lastly, We used the bq once but didn't know how to empty the ashes, so I left them, but in return we left you the lighter fuel for the charcoal. Thanks again for everything, and the wonderful soap you had in the bathroom, and of course the most wonderful linen in the world. (note: the guest attached photos of the nest and eggs and the new born hummingbirds which I have posted on the photos).
This cottage was perfect for my husband and I from the moment we walked in the door, we knew we had made a good decision. From the quaint fireplace to the very comfortable bed we felt at hime and the owner Evelyn was very gracious to work with.
This was our second stay at the 14th Street Cottages and, once again, we loved every minute of it. Our cottage was clean and fresh and beautifully appointed. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. We just love the area because it's very relaxed and calm yet there's so much to do. We always go to R and D Kitchen for lunch or dinner, then up to Sweet Lady Jane's for coffee or dessert. Whole Foods is just up the street and Peet's coffee is on the corner. The grounds and gardens of the cottages are lush and well-maintained. As far as we're concerned, it's everything you could want it to be. We'll be back as often as possible. Enjoy!
This charming cottage is just perfect. Immaculate and well stocked. Bed is wonderfully comfortable. The location is perfect for shopping, dining and a short drive to the beach.

I love this cottage. Very cozy. Perfect for two people. I love the kitchen and the bedroom and the bathroom and the wood floors and the cozy living room with the fireplace. I hate that I have to leave tomorrow.
Warm and cozy place to stay in a Santa Monica for a Christmas shopping expedition. It was centrally located to our destinations but removed from traffic and noise. The place was clean, well-maintained and fully functional. We loved the fireplace and the off street parking saved a lot of headaches. We have recommended it to all of our friends and hope to return in the near future.
The cottage was beautiful, inviting, and oh so comfortable! Everything we needed was there and it was in walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants. It was nice to have the garage parking with our unit and the gas fireplace! We will surely be back.
