We stayed in this suite for 6 nights. It was clean and comfy. Dave the owner is such a sweet man and very helpful! This studio was the perfect size for our family of four (son 6 daughter 3 months).
There were boogie boards, a bbq and nice outdoor seating for your morning cup of coffee or nightly glass of wine. The french doors off the patio are great to open up wide and let the fresh air in. Love that there are no flying bugs in SD. The bed was comfy and we even had a travel playpen for the baby. You are getting a deal staying here, you'll pay way more for a hotel.

The only negative I would have to say is the small kitchen, not much counter space. But it does have all your basic necessities.

We would recommend this place to anyone that wants to stay in Mission Bay.

I would recommend posting a picture of the bedroom, so people know there is another bed not just the futon.

This place worked out great for my family (Parents and 2 kids). The kitchen being down the hall from the living area worked out really well as we could move around after the kids went to sleep. I have also never rented a property that was kept SO CLEAN! For a neat freak like myself, this was nice to see! Great location! The property is right off the I-5 highway so it was REALLY convenient to everywhere we went. Also, only one exit away from Sea World... The only reason why I left 4 stars instead of 5 is that we had some electrical issues surrounding the bedroom heater - so it was a little cold in the bedroom but if you aren't there in the winter, it shouldn't be a problem. Other than that, Dave was a super nice guy and went out of his way for us. If we ever had a question, he always answered it promptly.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

It worked for us!

The apartment is well located and clean. The owners are very sweet and helpful, but not invasive. The lady of the house has a green thumb, so there are lots of cool succulents and other plants all over the patio and outside spaces. There were a few things that were a bit funky: the shower is very small with a short shower head, so you have to lean over to get under the water; they had radiant heat in the ceiling, so if it happens to get chilly, the owners bring you a space heater; and there is no stove or stove top. They went and bought a hot plate for us to use, which worked great but the ad claimed there was a two ring stovetop - the owner said it got fried by a prior renter. Overall our experience was very positive - great internet connection!
