Bigger and better than expected, and the owners went above and beyond!

We arrived in Prague not really knowing what to expect from the apartment from the photos on the site, and it was much bigger and better than we anticipated. Really clean and bright, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. There were two of us, and it was plenty of room to spread out. I don't think the photos illustrated the size at all, it's pretty spacious. The bed is comfy and there is tons of closet space (two wardrobes and a dresser)
We were picked up at the airport and brought in by a nice guy named Vladimir. The apartment overlooks a large quiet courtyard which was a big plus, and the neighborhood in Vinohrady was great. There's a ton of restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood just a few minutes away, which is overall a pretty quiet and lovely place. (It's not a far walk to the vineyards either. Don't miss exploring them. I should also ad that Prague as a travel destination surpassed our expectations too. Beautiful and affordable)
The apartment is on the top floor of a a character building just around the corner from a big park, it's about a 4 minute walk to the subway station which we used a lot. You can walk over to the top of Wenceles square in about 8 minutes and probably walk to old town square in about 20-25 minutes. The neighbourhood is really safe, and I felt comfortable walking around late at night with my wife. (Wenceles square...not so much)
There's two little convenience stores pretty much right downstairs for sundries and snacks which were handy.
Here's the part that really impressed me about the Czech Republic and the apartment. We were on our honeymoon and my wife left her wedding rings in the bathroom when we left! The cleaners picked them up and Petra fed ex'd them back to me no problem, so you can trust that everyone involved is on the up and up!
Everyone I dealt with for this apartment was wonderful, and the pictures don't do it justice for how spacious it is. If I don't say something negative I'll feel this is unbalanced, so I guess I could point out that the floors are pretty creaky and there's no dryer for the washer, just a big fold out rack. (inconsequential stuff, but I don't want this to be misconceived as an ad for the place).
I highly recommend it, and we'll stay there when we return. I haven't really got a single bad thing to say about it or the owners.
