Cozy! Fun!

  • 5 of 5
This cabin is even better than the pics. The beds were so comfortable, the hot tub was amazing, and loved the pellet stove and fireplace. Did not want for anything while we were here, barely left the cabin we loved it so much! Kitchen is also very well stocked if you like to cook. The complimentary wine and chocolate was really enjoyed. Didn't have children with us but the loft would have been a perfect hangout for kids! Great spot on Mt Hood!

The PERFECT house for our ski trip!

  • 5 of 5
I stayed in Don's A Frame house with 4 other friends for the duration of our ski trip to Mount Hood. Our vacation would not have been the same without this house. Don was extremely helpful from the time we were planning our vacation until our last day. The A frame is the perfect place to wake up before a day of skiing, and to retire to afterwards. The decor is perfect in every way, and the ammenities are amazing. We would not have survived 4 hard days of skiing without the hot tub on the back porch (which was very clean and bigger than expected!) There were 3 bedrooms with queen beds and a loft with 3 twins and another double bed which were all clean and very comfortable! The complimentary wine and chocolates were delicious, and the kitchen had ample cookware to make our own dinners. The couches were some of the most relaxing that I have ever sat in, and the variety of movies and games (including 90's skiing movies) were plenty to keep us and people of all ages entertained. Government Camp is THE place to stay, including other cabins, bars, restaurants, grocery and general stores, and ski shops. The house is well lit, well heated, and big enough for you, your friends, and all your gear. We hope to be back next year! Thanks again Don!

We will be back many years to come!!!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The owner was very accommodating to make sure everything was perfect for our Thanksgiving vacation. The pictures do not do the cabin justice. It is very clean, cheerful and cozy. You will not be disappointed! We will be making this a family tradition.

Everything was as advertised.

Clean, cozy. Loved the hot tub!! Nice large, thirsty towels! Comfortable beds. Easy access to town and if there had been snow it would be easy access to xc trails. Pellet stove easy to use. Kitchen had everything (except pepper). Nice selection of movies and we really loved all the board games! Thanks for the nice place to vacation.

Beautiful rustic cabin in mt. Hood village

  • 5 of 5
We had such a wonderful time. Our little girl turned 1 year old and our family flew up from Hawaii to celebrate with us.
There was something for all of us, snowboarding at timberline, hot tub for after, we were able to make cup cakes and popcorn, and even found some sleds for grandma and grandpa.
The cabin was the perfect size and we were cozy and warm. Don was very good at preparing directions, communicating, answering all my questions, and getting back to me promptly.
There were lots of movies and a karaoke machine we unfortunately didn't get to take advantage of.
We can't wait to do it again next year
