The Chateaubriand is a big apartment of 1000 sq feet located on the 2nd floor of a triplex with a private terrace. It includes 1 bedroom with queen size beds, 1 murphy-bed (queen) ,therapeutic bathtub and 5 appliances, office with WIFI, 42’’ LCD screen, automatic cappuccino machine and in bonus a wine cellar, etc.

We are located in the Rosemont – Petite Patrie area, 2 minutes walk from the Beaubien Metro. The area is very nice and safe, very lively. We are a few steps away from the St-Hubert shopping area, 5 minutes from the famous Jean-Talon market known for its culinary diversity and its fresh produce and next to the Little Italy known for all its various restaurants and terraces. There’s a mix of Latin and Asian cuisine around the area.

The Plateau Mont-Royal is located within 15 minutes walk . All the main attractions, Downtown Montreal, Old Port, Universities and museums are all accessible via the subway and all within 15mins. Best way to see Montreal is via its subway system, http://stm.info/metro/mapmetro/htm. also if you like to bike, you will find a BIXI station located near the apartment, http://montreal.bixi.com.

If you have a car, you can park on the street in front of the apartment for free.

We enjoyed being part of a neighborhood where one can walk to fine restaurants and markets. The easy access to the Metro allowed for trips to musical events and McGill. The apartment was just as described and even more than the pictures reveal. The owners had lots of tips to make our visit more pleasurable. They were welcoming and responsive. We would recommend this place to someone that enjoys walking and exploring a unique area.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing

My husband and I very much appreciated the cleanliness and pleasantness of Helene's rental apartment. From furnishings to wall art, the apartment presents an urban, cosmopolitan image, while its location combines convenience to downtown Montreal with a more residential feel: it nonetheless is situated in an urban setting, on a busy street, which, for us, proved a welcome change from out small town existence. I should mention that the apartment is quiet: one does not hear outside noise.

The kitchen is the best equipped of any vacation property we've leased. We enjoyed preparing ourselves the really excellent groceries and meats and fish available at the Jean Talon market (ten minute walk)! As many reviewers have mentioned, the metro is two minutes walk from the apartment, easy to navigate, and the best way to travel the city. Montreal offers the tourist many wonderful things to do, from opera to botanical gardens, and from history to art museums.

Without reservation, we recommend Helene's property.

The apartment was perfect for our stay in Montreal. It is spacious, beautifully decorated and has almost everything you need to make it feel like home. It was well maintained and very clean. We loved the terrace and the large dining area. The apartment is so convenient to a Metro station, bus links, a large grocery store, shopping areas, restaurants and the wonderful Jean Talon Market. The owners are friendly and helpful and provide good customer service. We would recommend this property to friends and know that we will return on our next trip to Montreal.

This apartment is accessible by Montreal's typical outside stairs. Inside is a modern, clean, tasteful abode with many amenities (robes and an espresso maker, too). The hosts are always available with help and recommendations. The Metro and Jean Talon Market are very close!

A Perfect Week in a Perfect Apartment !

We are still talking about how wonderful our week was in Montreal ! This apartment was so perfect! There is a lot of pride in this apartment. The rooms were so comfortable, so clean, you felt like you were in a 5 star resort. - Helene has wonderful design sense ! the bed was great, the sheets, towels - all high quality. The kitchen had everything, even a wine refrigerator. We cooked most of our meals, used the grill- and enjoyed the outdoor terrace for - breakfast, coffee, reading..... relaxing ! The apartment is located in a residential neighborhood, and within a 5 minute walk to the "metro"- which makes it so easy to get anywhere.... Jean-Talon market - a must !!!! Many restaurants are also within walking distance. We felt like we could stay forever- The owners made us feel so welcome ! Thank you for making our stay so memorable ! Paula and Steve
