LUXURIOUS APARTMENT WITH PRIVATE TERRACE ,AIR CONDITIONING & BBQ GRILL GAS

The place was gorgeous. We walked in and were shocked to see how nicely decorated and clean this place was. We were very excited to say the least! The apartment has all the cooking needs you might want when on vacation and they're good quality too! There is even a cappuccino machine which is a nice plus. There's a washer/dryer in the apartment so you don't have to go home with dirty clothes! That was a big plus for us too. The apartment is up a set of stairs, which wasn't a big deal to us, but something to be aware of if you have trouble with stairs. The metro station is on the same block as the apartment! We loved taking the metro - it was clean, easy and really fun to feel like a local. We also rented bikes. The city has the system where you rent a bike and ride it around town then you can leave it in another location - we loved this! There is also a bike rack very close by to the metro that's near the apartment - another plus! We loved walking over to the Jean-Talon market which was a 5 minutes walk. We found some organic goodies there to make breakfast in the morning and to enjoy wine/cheese at night. The place was all around magical. We will definitely return. One minor thing to mention was that the walls were pretty thin and we did hear the owners downstairs at times - this wasn't a huge deal but something to be aware of. At night we didn't have any problems with noise though, the street was very quiet and we slept very well. Parking is a bit funny. You can park on the street but there is resident parking, so make sure not to park where the sign is pointing for residents. Helene was very nice and explained the parking situation to us twice so that we fully understood! We ended up not moving our car at all and took public transport the whole time. All around this was a fantastic trip and we will definitely return! Thanks Helene and Michel!

Le Chateaubriand was an excellent location for exploring Montreal. Its conveniently located near the Beaubien Metro station and a short ride to downtown or Old Montreal. We had a car but ended up using the Metro a few times as it was so convenient. We loved the neighbourhood as we've stayed downtown before and enjoyed less touristy atmosphere, great Latin restaurants and the fantastic Jean-Talon Marche. Grocery store and SAQ (wine/beer shop) a one minute walk. The apartment was exactly as described, well furnished and in near new condition. Helene (owner) was also extremely helpful. The wine cooler and expresso machine were very nice touches so that we could enjoy our coffee and Happy Hour on the terasse. Would happy recommend this VRBO and would definitely stay here again.

Our family of four (two adults, two twelve-year-olds) had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It was clean, well kept, stylish, and well stocked with useful items. The Beaubien metro stop was very close - a 5 minute walk at most - as was a small corner grocery, and a larger IPA grocery store. Our children were comfortable on the pull out sofa bed, and the washer and dryer were conveniently located in the bathroom. The small back balcony (equipped with a grill) provided a nice retreat when one wanted a quiet place to read or some fresh air. All of the appliances appeared to be new; the espresso machine was a nice touch! Finally, the owner was very helpful with information about parking restrictions and other practical matters. We would recommend this apartment to others and return there ourselves.
