Summer Time Fun: This house is located on the edge of the White Mountain National Forest it has views of the Moat Mountains. Echo Lake Park is close by and can be reached by hiking or mountain biking. Echo Lake is a great place for swimming and picnicking with sites available for grilling or campfires. Diana's Bath is a local attraction to hike to and cool off in the natural water falls of this attraction. It is possible to hike up to the Moats and mountain bike the numerous trails in the area.
The Saco River is also close by and it is a popular spot for canoeing, kayaking, tubing and swimming. The Saco also has numerous areas that are available for fly fishing.
There are a number of great golf courses in the immediate area with Hales Location Country Club not more than five minutes away.
If your not interested in traveling it is possible to spend the day out by the pool, grilling or enjoying a campfire later in the evening.
Winter Time Fun: The Mount Washington Valley is most famous for it's winter recreation facilities. This home on Blueberry Lane is located out of town, but close enough to all the activities.
There are five local downhill ski areas with in easy access to Blueberry Lane. The Mount Washington Valley also has some great cross country skiing resorts. Cross-country skiing is a great alternative to downhill skiing in that it is much more reasonably priced and easier to master.
