I cannot express enough what a wonderful time I had at this Rental. From the onset, the owner was very friendly and punctual when responding to my inquiries. More importantly, he was extremely interested in making sure that my stay was the best one possible. I had informed him that I intended to propose to my girlfriend during our stay and he went out of his way to make sure that everything was in-line with my personal schedule and planning. I went to school at UCSD and even lived off Carmel Valley RD for a year during that time and consider myself well versed on the area. Quite honestly, I can say that this condo is a STEAL for the rate being charged. It is by far the best value on VRBO. In fact, my Fiance' and I plan on returning to this same rental frequently in the future. During the week that we spent, we were able to quickly walk to restaurants and stores on Camino del mar, ride our bikes up to dog beach in Solana Beach, Walk down the beach to Torrey Pines, and enjoyed a clear view of 4th of July fireworks at both Sea World and the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Everynight we walked just one block (no exaggeration) to enjoy the sunset, and we sat out on out patio for all of our meals. The owner has beach chairs, towels, and all the home and beach ammenities there for us. We were literally depressed when it came time to leave. What probably sets this owner apart is the fact that he is a local product of the area and truly values his home and the environment it provides rather than simply treating it as a source of income. He absolutely went the distance for us,.. going as far as to meet us in Encinitas on our way down from Orange County. You will not be disappointed with your stay here.. local flavor, tranquil relaxation, a caring owner, and the best beach in San Diego at a stone's-throw distance. Enough said!.. Enjoy your stay
