THE LOCATION:

This Savannah contemporary loft is at the heart of the historic district, located on the main boutique-shopping street, Broughton Street, and is within moments walking distance to River Street, Forsyth Park, galleries, restaurants, and all downtown shopping. It really is in the premier location for a vacationer to experience the beautiful city of Savannah. This loft is all about the location. It is also within easy driving distance to Tybee Beach (20 min), and parking garages are located within 2 blocks of the loft. The many famous reasons for visiting Savannah are all within walking distance from this loft: Paula Deen's restaurant The Lady & Sons, City Market, River Street, the parks, squares, movie locations, architecture, etc.

THE LOFT:: Within a historic building from 1891, the loft is newly renovated with granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances, with a modern chic décor overlooking the main boutique-shopping street in Savannah. This loft is for the vacationer wanting to take in beautiful historic Savannah from a location in the midst of it all, while living in contemporary style. The kitchen is stocked with full cook and bakeware – as well as utensils. You will find coffee and tea with a French press and an electric kettle. The up-to-date kitchen is fully furnished and allows you to prepare meals as if you were in your own home. The modern bathroom is stocked with towels, and linens are provided for sleeping. The bedroom features a contemporary queen-size platform bed. Loft has its own laundry machine and dryer for your convenience. High ceilings give you a sense of openness, and the large ground-to-ceiling windows let in abundant light to brighten the room.

Antique hard wood floors complete the space. The living area offers a single sleeper for one individual, ideal for a child, a flat screen 42” HDTV, space for relaxing, and furnished with art collected from the owners foreign travels. There is a video entrance system for increased security and ease.

THE LOCAL:: The loft is locally owned and operated by a professor at the Savannah College of Art and Design. During his foreign travels, he collects art with which he furnishes the loft, making it ideal for vacationers with a sense of style and looking for the chic Savannah lifestyle. When you email or call you are speaking directly with the owners, not a management company. Maps, and suggestions for dining and sightseeing are also included. We live in Savannah and offer personalized service and meet all our guests upon arrival for check-in. The loft on Broughton Street is the perfect home base for a weekend trip to Savannah. Eli was extremely professional and helpful through the rental process. It was easy to make reservations, pay, check in, and check out. The loft is extremely clean and all furnishings are comfortable and chic. (very Ikea) We were able to park our car and walk everywhere we wanted to go throughout the weekend. Very close to good shops, restaurants and bars. Great people watching late at night!

Great Stay in Savannah

Savannah was awesome. We fell in love and will be back for a week at end of June. I felt the location for shopping was spot on in this loft. The loft was decorated nice and convenient to the city market and lots of fabulous shops. The owner was very friendly and gave us tips and ideas. My only complaints ( and I have always been about little details) was we only had one tiny facial bar of soap for 3 nights..the tub was dirty(so I had to clean it)...and 4 towels for 3 of us meant we had to wash them to reuse them but there was a washer and dryer so no big deal. Overall a fabulous little loft. I would recommend for anyone wanting to be in the shopping area with great food! Lastly, the price was awesome. Very fair price for last minute trip.

Excellent Stay in a hip downtown loft

The loft was well-equipped and in a fantastic, walkable location. We parked our car for less than $20 and literally didn't drive the entire weekend. Eli was great to work with. He provided lots of instructions, details, and recommendations for our stay. The actual unit was just as nice as the photos posted and the loft was right on the main thoroughfare of shopping as described. When we had any questions for Eli, we texted and he responded promptly. The price is incredibly reasonable for what you get. Yes, it is noisy at night until 2 am, but it didn't bother us at all. We actually enjoyed watching all the action out our window! While there, check out Local 11Ten, Leoci's Trattoria, Zunzi's and Coffee Fox! Best shopping at SCAD Store, Satchel, Red Clover!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay!

The loft was beautiful and the location was perfect. The owner was there to answer any questions we had such as what places were good to eat at and where to go to have a great time. The only problem I had was that people were partying and making lots of noise out on the street below till 3 to 3:30 in the morning every night which made it very hard to ret up from all of the site seeing we were doing. You can hear everything that goes on outside. Other than that the place was fantastic! If I wanted to take a vacation and didn't plan on sleeping the whole week than I'd definitely go back lol.

Great Location!!

I normally do not write reviews but I find my self wanting to tell everyone about this great loft space that I rented for my 13 year old daughter and I over a long weekend. We parked our car and walked everywhere. The loft is located a block away from City Market which is were we spent most of our down time and a few blocks away from the River Front. The loft was clean, well stocked, and comfy. Ely was a WONDERFUL host!! Very patient and helpful with anything we needed. He answered every question promptly and even offered fun and helpful ideas. I had to call him one night to help me with the TV, his kindness extended through every answer. The only down side is the nightly noise but with the location of the loft it was to be expected. Thanks again Ely for a wonderful stay in Savannah!!
