Cabin, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath (Sleeps 2-4)

Valdez is the gateway to the Prince William Sound. With world class fishing, sightseeing and sea kayaking. Many of the biggest fish caught in Alaska are caught in the Prince Williams sound. The city of Valdez is snuggled beneath the Chugach Mountains. The crashing glaciers and towering mountains that rise from the seas make Valdez absolutely picturesque.

The seawaters near Valdez abound with sea otters, dall porpoise, harbor seals, stellar sea lions, humpback whales, orca whales, pink salmon, silver salmon, halibut, ling cod and rockfish. You can head out to Allison Point and watch black and brown bears fishing for salmon. Bald eagles abound everywhere. Life is good.

Unique log cabin with two full beds, large bathroom with whirlpool tub/shower. (sleeps 4), bbq, fire-ring, internet connection (Wi-Fi).

Great downtown location, over 100 shops nearby on Asbury Ave, walk to beach and boardwalk, Gillians Amusement Pier within walking distance.

Other Activities: Shopping, Kayaking , Boating, Cross Country Skiing, Snowboarding, Snowmobiling, Wildlife Viewing

Our family of 6 stayed at this property in June, 2012. The owner's are the nicest people and more than accommodating. The property is exactly as described and as lovely. What a perfect spot! Located close to anything you would need. The bedrooms were spacious and property was spotless. The kitchen and rest of the home was excellently equipped and well suited for families, especially those with children. Thanks to the owners for a wonderful week and a pleasurable experience. We have absolutely no reservations recommending this property as it is nothing short of A+.
