New Mexican Contemporary Beachfront Home with Infinity Pool

From the moment I opened the front door my jaw dropped! WOW! this house is amazing! and the infinity pool looks like it is floating into the Sea of Cortez. As Julie showed us around the house it just got better and better. The view from every room in this house is amazing. This is a smart house, they thought of every detail when they built this. The decor in the house is exactly what we like. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking. The water throughout the whole house is filtered and ok for drinking. There is a great breeze throughout the whole house once you open all the sliders and turn on the ceiling fan, the temperature in the house is very comfortable. The outdoor living space is awesome! We really enjoyed the pool and the fire pit area. We cooked most of our meals outside on the grill. Our whole family was in town for my sisters wedding so we had a family reunion one of the days and everyone enjoyed the pool and used the kayaks and just had the best time!
The master bathroom has an indoor and outdoor shower with a fantastic view of he sea of cortez.
The lighting throughout the house indoor and outdoor is fantastic. There are so many light switches in this house that I would recommend that they label them or make some kind of lighting diagram for guests. It took us a while to figure it out. I loved all the little lights in the stairway inside and the fire pit area. The refrigerator doors seemed like they didn't seal very well, that kind of drove me nuts but we made due. We were a little bummed that we never found the light switch for the pool light and the pool lounge chairs had ripped from the sun so we didn't have any available during our stay. These are minor things that would have been nice to have but not absolutely necessary. I still give Casa de Dos Perros 5 stars. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Bring your camera and wake up early, the sunrise is absolutely beautiful. This rental was a great find and one of the most beautiful homes I have ever seen. I am totally spoiled now. We have rented VRBO homes each year for the past 6 years. This was our first time going to Baja California. My wife and kids (14, 16) rented a car at the airport (really inexpensive) and arrived in the afternoon. We met with the property manager who escorted us to the home, which is about 5-7 minutes away from "downtown" Los Barriles. Along the way she pointed out markets, health clinics, ATMs, and restaurants, which was quite helpful.
We are not "all inclusive" types. Rather, we like the freedom and privacy one has in renting a private home. Casa de Dos Perros was a perfect selection for us. The decor of the home is very nice, with a well-appointed kitchen. The views of the sea from all over the house are beautiful. We ate most meals at home; they have a nice BBQ grill and i picked up HUGE scallops, prawns, and steaks at the local market. 2-3 times during our stay, "Max" came by selling empanadas that his wife makes. Of course we bought a dozen each time.
We enjoyed the pool, the beach, the snorkeling... basically everything. If you want a private retreat in a quiet Mexican town, while staying in a really nice home, Casa de Dos Perros could be a good choice for you.

best beech rental we have ever had, Loved the laid back town, met with some of the friendly neighbors, and enjoyed the local resturaunts. We liked it so much we even are looking at buying in the area. The house itself was perfect, great views, easy onto the beach, and even the fire pit was off to the side to take advantage of afternoon sun and stars. Someone did and excelent job designing this home.
