Whether you enjoy lounging by the pool, strolling on the beach, fishing, or curling up with a good book, this home offers you all of the luxuries you'll need to make your stay here special. Its 3 bedrooms, 3 baths and a fully-equipped kitchen accommodates two or three couples comfortably. All furnishings are first class. A private heated pool is surrounded by a lushly landscaped courtyard and screened-in lanai with outdoor fireplace and grill. A boat dock is only 70 steps from your back door, and the beach is just 100 steps away.

Villa Elena is a one-level home that sleeps 8, with 3BR, 3 Bath, 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Twins, and 1 Sofabed.

Activities by Villa Elena: One nights stay here at Villa Elena and you'll realize why so many people come from all over the world to stay on the famed islands of Sanibel and Captiva, known world-wide for their wonderful beaches and excellent shelling. Captiva has some of the best fishing in the world. A number of tournaments are offered in the area. Tarpon, snook, red fish, snapper, and grouper are caught in local waters. Captiva and Sanibel Islands are also among the best bird watching areas in the country. Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge is just a few miles away.

Villa Elena is a beautiful Mediterranean home in a very private setting on Captiva Island in Florida. Villa Elena is located by Tween Waters and is just a 2 minute walk to the beach to the east and a 2 minute walk the west to enjoy the bay and boat dock. There are resturants and shopping within a short drive to the south of the home as well as a small general store and music entertainment performed nightly at the restuarants. The movie theatre is a short drive to Sanibel Island as well as Bailey's General store and a wide variety of restuarants and stores.

Other Activities: We enjoy eating at the Bubble Room and booking our deep-sea expeditions at Jensen's Marina. Ask for Jimmy, he is a fantastic guide. You can also book a shelling excursion at Jensen's as well and they can take you to a secluded beach for shelling. While you are here for your visit, take a drive to the Sanibel Marina and take the Sanibel Thriller ride. It's a high speed pontoon boat that takes you around to see the sights of both Sanibel and Captiva Islands. Have your cameras ready to snap photos of the dophins that come and play in the waves of the boat. I can't forget the manatees and the sea turtles too! The Shell Museum is a must see with all the wonderful kinds of shells found throughout the world. They will send your kids on a hunt to find certain shells, once they have completed their search, they will be rewarded by the hostess! The night life on Andi Rossi lane is great. Great food, fun, and atmosphere and don't forget to include a sunset stroll on the beach!

Golf: There are several places to work on your golf stroke. One of our favorites is The Dunes Golf Club located in Sanibel. It is a public 4 star 18 hole course with over 5,578 yards and a par of 70. Located only 12.5 miles from Villa Elena be sure to come to get your golf or tennis stroke on!

  • The master bath is complete seperate sinks, a large soaker tub, and beautiful glass/tile shower. The 2nd bathroom is accessible from the dining room for guest but it also comes with an additional door to the bedroom with the twin beds. The last bathroom is complete with dual sinks and a large walk in tiled shower.

Wonderful family friendly home. Very comfortable, supplied well with towels, and cooking tools. Walking distance to the beach. House and pool were clean, could use minor updates. I would stay again at this house without a doubt.

Wonderful Family Time

Hello – It’s been a hectic first week back in Ecuador, particularly so with our kids having gotten a little sick, but things have calmed down to the point where I can finally say THANK YOU. It was an amazing week and the accommodations were a big reason for that. The kids enjoyed the pool and beach, and we even rented a boat for a day and picking up the family from the dock was a nice treat. My Spanish in-laws were very impressed with the residence, and it’s only a minor miracle that there are more pics of the kids than there are of the house! So thank you again. We truly appreciate it.

Delightful stay in Captiva

We stayed in this beautiful home last week and had a great time. In total we were 8, 2 families of 4 (2 x 4year olds and 2 x 6yr olds). It was a busy time but really relaxing. There were great activities and we didn't have time to do them all so will have to return! The beach was great although a little cold for the kids to swim. The pool was perfect- almost too perfect- the kids never wanted to get out! The fireplace was a really nice later night pass time for the adults. Villa Elena was an excellent combination of comfort, location and amenity. I would definitely recommend the house and Captiva to anyone. We had no complaints and no troubles during our stay.

We had a wonderful time on Captiva Island. The house was wonderful. It was well maintained and the kitchen was stocked with the right amount of kitchen gadgets to make cooking easy. The pool was heated which was an added plus! We rented bikes from Eddy's bike and used them to get around the island for the week. We also bought fresh seafood from Andy's mobile fish market. The crab cakes and grouper were amazing. Thank you for a wonderful week with my family! Beach was beautiful.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The house was in quiet location with easy access to the beach and town of Captiva. We rented bikes from Billy's for the week and used them to get around the island. On Tuesday I rode into town and bought fresh grouper and crabcakes from Andy's mobile fish market. They food was delicious! The house was well maintained and the kitchen had all the needed supplies to make cooking easy. The pool was heated which was a unexpected plus! We would definitely recommend this house.
