Built to be a dream home by a local engineer, this lovingly crafted house has 4 bedrooms with 1 King and 3 Queen beds, a large Home Theater family room with oversized sectional sofa and a living room with vaulted cathedral ceiling and large ultra comfy leather sofa. With 4,200 square feet, this house can easily accommodate 11-12 people. We also include an inflatable mattress. There are 2 gas fireplaces. A large festive one in the living room and a warm romantic see through in the master bedroom. Equipped with 3.5 bathrooms, the master bathroom features a 2 person jet tub and a multi-person shower with 2 separate shower head stations each with 3 shower heads and seating.
All of the furniture in the house is new (late 2010), high quality leather and solid woods. The floors feature breathtaking solid Hickory throughout with Bowron sheepskin rugs, perfect for cuddling in front of the fireplace in the winter or on chilly evenings and mornings.
A full size spacious kitchen has seating for 12 with granite countertops, instant hot water dispenser, water filtration system and all of the appliances and utensils of a well equipped home.
The living room features two reclining loungers next to the floor-to-ceiling window wall overlooking the river, an oversized ultra comfy sofa facing the fireplace and a recliner sofa facing the TV armoire easily accommodating 7 or more people.
Being a home theater and video gaming junkie, I've equipped the house with all of the necessary amenities: Full house Wi-Fi for wireless internet access, whole house audio system with iPod/iPhone connector, 2 - DirectTV HD-DVRs upstairs and down. Downstairs Home Theater featuring 65' and 43' HDTVs with Blu-Ray, 5.1 surround sound topped off with 2 - Xbox 360s, multiple controllers and Kinect for full body motion control fun for the whole family. This is the perfect setup for dual screen head to head gaming, or movies and games at the same time. It's the perfect way to relax and have some fun after a day of skiing or fishing.
Our family currently uses the house for vacations so your expectations are our expectations. I have a local handy man on call if any problems arise and this house features a very unique 800 sq. ft. lockout apartment that is totally separate from the rest of the house. I am always just a cell phone call away.

About The Owner
Originally born in Fairbanks, Alaska now residing in Tulsa OK. We fell in love with the Vail area during family vacations in the summer. We purchased this place in Eagle, Co. in 2010.
The Owner purchased this house in 2010
Why The Owner chose Eagle
We were looking for our dream home, a place where we would want to retire. We fell in love with the Vail Valley but wanted to avoid the crowds and congestion of Vail itself. Finding this house was like striking gold. We found the perfect balance between nature, seclusion and quick access to skiing, fishing, hiking etc. The back yard is the Eagle river. We have mountain scenery in every direction and the river is right outside the back door. The Eagle river is on our property so fishing is 24/7. The living room and master bedrooms have floor to ceiling cathedral windows overlooking the river. A large deck is accessible from the kitchen/living room that overlooks the river. Gold Medal Fishing, hunting, hiking, white water rafting, canoeing and skiing. It is the perfect retreat, avoiding the congestion of Vail but quick access to Vail, Beaver Creek and Edwards with all of the amenities of Eagle, Co. including the Eagle Movie Theater, City Market grocery, Costco and the Vail/Eagle airport. It is quiet and tranquil, the perfect getaway with the constant sound and flow of the river.
What makes this house unique
The river naturally attracts wildlife. In the early mornings and evenings we've witnessed deer, horses, mountain sheep and other wildlife from the deck and living room and master bedroom windows. We have equipped the house with all the comforts of home. There is a large family room downstairs with full Home Theater that includes 2 HDTVs, 65inch and 43 inch, Blu-Ray and 2 Xbox 360s with Kinect for true full family interactive entertainment. I have DirectTV HD receivers upstairs and downstairs. Full laundry and kitchen. Wi-Fi internet throughout the house. Huge gas fireplace in the living room and a romantic gas see through fireplace in the Master Bedroom topped off with a Jacuszzi tub for two.
