Villa Cabo Mango is the perfect home for boaters and/or water lovers seeking an upscale residence with quick access to the Gulf of Mexico. Located on a quiet culdesac street just minutes by boat or car from the popular Cape Harbor or Tarpon Point areas of Cape Coral, it offers direct boating access to the gulf with no bridges or locks. Cruise to the Gulf of Mexico and/or out to the romantic beaches on Sanibel and Captiva Islands; or out to any of the other hundred plus tropical Islands in South West Florida. Or perhaps enjoy a cruise to Cabbage Key where the only access is by boat. It's claimed here at the Cabbage Key Inn is where Jimmy Buffett was inspired to pen his song 'Cheeseburger in Paradise'.

At the end of the day, dock your boat at your private dock on the canal behind your house, refresh with a dip in your heated pool, then relax with your favorite drink while Bar-BQing on the lanai poolside. All the while enjoying the tropical air and soothing water view.

The home has the popular Great Room layout where living, dining and kitchen are combined to make a single spacious living area where everyone can share in the activities, whether they be cooking, watching TV or just admiring the waterfront view. The kitchen is fully equipped with Stainless steel appliances, Florida style white cabinets and coriane worktops. The nook and breakfast bar share the great room and the view of the pool and water. The great room is furnished with soft leather reclining chair/sofas with marble top tables, 55 inch flat screen HDTV, CD/ipod stereo, Blu-ray player and whole home DVR. The entire pool side wall is glass and slides open to the screened lanai creating a single expansive indoor/outdoor living area.

The home offers 3 bedrooms (king, queen, twin), 3 full baths and a separate den. The master and queen bedrooms feature direct sliding glass door access to the lanai and pool, and both have flat screen HDTVs. Each bedroom has its own separate bathroom with shower, tub, ceiling fan, and hair dryer. The queen bedroom bath offers a separate door for access to the pool and lanai for added convenience. The den is furnished with desk, sofa and free wireless internet. The den is perfect for those quiet evenings curled up with a favorite book; or perhaps, for planning the next day's boating adventure.

Villa Cabo Mango was built in 2001 with 2261 sq ft of tropical living space. It was purchased as a vacation rental home July 2011 and was designed to be the ideal tropical getaway for friends and guests with all the amenities of a private resort. It has been decorated with soft warm contemporary colors and furnished to offer the utmost in luxury and relaxation. All furniture (including beds/mattresses and stainless steel appliances) are new purchased in July 2011. Also new are all kitchen counter top appliances, linens (800 thread count), towels and washer/dryer.

The lanai has all new furniture including slate dining table with seating for 6 plus an additional casual sitting area, 4 reclining lounges and a gas BBQ with free gas bottle refills. Waterfront amenities include a 30' boat dock and 10,000 lb boat lift. Rental boats are available and can be delivered to your dock for your convenience. There is also an extra wide driveway and 3 car garage offering expanded parking for your vehicles and/or boat trailers.

And don't forget to try a fresh mango when in season (spring / summer), from your own backyard mango tree.

We are long time boaters from Southern California who love cruising tropical warm water locations like the Bahamas and Caribbean. We find Cape Coral comparable to the Bahamas, but with all the convenience and safety of a Florida location.

Cape Coral to us is paradise. An idyllic town in Southwest Florida located on the shores of the picturesque Caloosahatchee River just a short boat ride to the blue-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. We chose Cape Coral because of its small waterfront town atmosphere, its low crime rate, and it has more than 400 miles of navigable canals and waterways. Yet it is still just minutes from big city amenities such as restaurants, shopping, beaches and international airport.

Family Vacation

We spent 8 days at this wonderful house and everything was just perfect. House is very clean, big and well furnished. We enjoyed the pool a lot and also the outside deck where we spent time fishing,
The A/C had a little problem but everything was taking care very fast and it wasn't an issue.
Hope to be back some other time, great spot for relaxing ( the TV is great )
PS :The Miramar outlets are close and a nice spot for shopping

Wonderful stay in Cape Coral

Villa Cabo Mango was an outstanding base for our stay in the Cape Coral area. The photos are completely accurate, in fact it surpassed what we had seen on the site. It was spotlessly clean and everything was in very good order, with very comfortable furnishings throughout. The décor was delightful, with several references to wildlife and the outdoors which we particularly appreciated. Ceiling fans in all rooms along with effective AC made the house very comfortable.

The recliner sofa and chair was a very nice touch, in fact we'd love those here at home! The living area has an excellent TV/DVR/BluRay too for relaxed nights in. The bed in the master suite was the most comfortable we have had in several trips to Florida rental properties, with very good quality pillows and bedding. We were amazed at the size of the master bathroom too.

The pool area and boat dock were immaculate and well maintained. The sun loungers were good quality and comfortable too, although we had a lot of rain so didn't make as much use of them as we would have liked. The lanai furniture was well used by us for meals etc and was very much to our taste. We made use of the boat lift to store the boat we hired for a few days, which was most convenient.

It was also nice to be able to use the garage to store the car. It was extremely clean with lots of space.

We really were most impressed with the whole property. Little touches like dishwasher tablets, soap, extra toilet rolls, laundry detergent etc were appreciated as not many villa rentals include any of those.

The management company were always available for any problems or issues and contacted us both at the start and end of our stay.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Villa Cabo Mango to anyone who was considering staying there. My husband and I loved our 3 week stay and we have very high standards.

The Villa Cabo Mango was a great place to stay, expecially this past winter. The house was exactly as viewed in the photos and was exactly as we expected. The house was clean and well maintained and was an enjoyable place to stay. The house is very spacious with proper furnishings throughout. There were only a couple of items to purchase during our stay as we love the fresh orange oranges from the Farmer's Market so we purchased a juicer. I loved the ability to put my boat out of the water on the lift during times of un-use and the dock was perfect for canal fishing. All appliances were in good working condition, all bedding and linens including sheets and towels were excellent. I received a call from the owner about one month into the stay to ask how everything was working out. That shows care for the people renting the home. There were so many places to eat that we made a bucket list and were not able to visit all of them before we departed. This is an excellent place for boaters as the house is on a sailboat canal. We saw many dolphins on our way out to the river and gulf waterways. We enjoyed lunch several times at Rum Runners and The Joint as they are right on the canal waterways. We also enjoyed late lunches at the Nauti Mermaid as it is also on the water. As for sightseeing we enjoyed the Edison/Ford Estate, attended a concert at the Barbara B. Mann auditorium. We are looking forward to our stay in this home next year.

Fabulous Home

Beautiful home with all the amenities and lots of nearby places to go and things to do. Loved the big soft leather couches and chair - there are 3 recliners!! The screened pool deck is huge and we particularly enjoyed fishing off the boat dock, even saw a couple dolphin go by. Enjoyed happy hours at Rumrunners and on several occasions rode the owner provided bikes to Tarpon Point Marina for lunch. Boating is wonderful and most restaurants have docks. We were 4 adults and with the 3 bedroom, 3 bath, great room, den layout; everyone had plenty of space to socialize or do their own thing. We have rented vacation homes in Cape Coral and other locations in Florida over the years and can truthfully say this is the first time that the home was exactly the same as the photographs and info in the listing. Local property managers were very responsive and helpful (they know all the best restaurants).

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!!!!

There were 6 women in our party staying at this beautiful 10 * house for 12 days. We felt there was lots of room, never felt crowded. All 3 bedrooms were spacious & filled with exceptional furniture. Mattresses were extremely comfortable. Master bedroom is a dream bedroom; huge with a king bed and a fabulous ensuite. 2 smaller bedrooms; 1 with queen bed and the other with twins. Both also had nice furniture including dressers (2 previous rentals we stayed in did not have dressers in the smaller bedrooms which made it very inconvenient) Kitchen was gorgeous and also well equipped with brand new small & large appliances. Living room couch was incredible, extremely comfortable leather sectional with recliners in most seats. Pictures did not do the house justice. Lovely home.
The lanai area with the pool had everything we needed. Enough loungers to relax in and a big table and chairs to sit around. Pool was just the right size with the water being same depth throughout.
We liked this area of Cape Coral much better than the previous area we stayed in 2 years ago by SE 20th Pl. Very nice neighbourhood and friendly neighbours. Lots of people out walking in the early morning and evenings which told us that it is also a safe neighbourhood. The owner and Manager of this home were terrific; from the onset of our rental transaction.
Many more restaurants open now on Pine Island Rd. You don't really need to leave the Cape for golf or meal outings. We had dinner at Papa Joe's on Cape Coral Pkwy. Food and service were wonderful. We also tried another Italian eatery on Pine Island that was very good (it was not Carberras as it was extremely busy but it was located just past it on Pine Island) Everything is within a 15 minute drive. We also enjoyed the Leaping Lizard on Cape Coral Pkwy. Great margaritas and happy hour from 12 - 7. They also have an entertainer there most nights.
We golfed at Royal Tee and Palmetto Pines. The Staff were fabulous, super friendly and very accomodating. Courses were in great shape as well.
We look forward to staying here again next year and hopefully for many years to come.
