Comfortable and convenient to everything important

We rented the Kona condo for three nights in late September 2012. It's a comfortable, well-appointed two-bedroom, two-bath unit, located about half a block from Kahalu'u Beach. The large living room leads to a wide deck through sliding glass doors and offers a view of the ocean. The building is small, so one doesn't have the feeling of being lost in a huge development. The pool is private with pretty flowers (the largest hibiscus we've ever seen) and a key-operated elevator from the garage. The owner has thought of everything. (We own a vacation rental house on the mainland ourselves, so we're sensitive to the kinds of amenities guests expect.) We especially appreciated the well stocked kitchen with good-quality cookware, everything one needs to make a full dinner, and an ample supply of plush beach and bath towels. The owner provides snorkel equipment, but we opted to rent our own masks and fins. We recommend Reef Teach at Kahalu'u Beach or Snorkel Bob’s just to the north, but go early as the water can get crowded. The excellent KTA Supermarket is located less than a mile away. Be sure to go to Da Poke Shack for lunch--a wonderful assortment of different kinds of poke. It's listed in the book of suggestions that the owner has provided. If we return to Kona, we would definitely rent this condo again.
Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your review. I'm glad you had a wonderful time in Kona and in my "Peaceful Nest"!
