Tucked away from the noise and busyness of everyday life, is a quiet ''Carriage House'' apartment located just a few miles outside the quaint little Village of Intercourse, PA. Many Lancaster County attractions are nearby: Kitchen Kettle, Strasburg Railroad, Dutch Wonderland, Amish Quilt Shops, Rockvale and Tanger Outlet Malls, Sight and Sound Millenium Theatre, Shady Maple Restaurant/Smorgasboard and other Restaurants with Amish Cooking, Buggy Rides, Hot Air Balloon Rides.

Originally the Carriage House was an out-building which has been newly-transformed into a charming apartment with spacious high ceilings and cozy decor. It includes a flat-screen TV/DVD, comfortable seating area, dining table and kitchenette (sink/refrigerator/microwave/coffee maker.) A separate bedroom features a painted armoire and a soft-as-a-cloud down comforter.

The spacious yard features a large gazebo, perfect for picnics, and you are invited to stroll through perennial gardens bursting with color or relax in the hammock.

Our first VRBO experience was great! The facility was beautiful, comfortable, many extra touches were added which enhanced our stay I.e. a lovely little Christmas tree in the window when we arrived for our Christmas vacation. Our host couldn't have been more helpful and kind. Bed was so comfortable and the presentation was exactly as advertised. Proximity to Lancaster and shopping areas was just right. The environment was beautiful countryside and quiet! We loved it!

Loved the Carraige House!! It was our first time to the area and we enjoyed it so much.....the shopping, eating and I think the sight seeing was our favorite thing to do. We would just get in the car and drive all over the countryside. It was so nice to come back to the Carraige House in the evenings. It was so clean and decorated beautiful!! The listing photos were very accurate and I would definitely recommend this property to anyone!!! We also enjoyed our few little visits with Cooper!!! Hope to return again!

Lovely Getaway!!!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House!! Everything was perfectly clean and the accommodations were wonderful. There was even a delicious loaf of zucchini bread waiting for us when we arrived! The grounds are well-kept and the place is located in a very relaxing and peaceful setting. We hope to visit again soon!
