The luxurious living room as floor to ceiling windows, high ceilings and a double sided gas fireplace that turns on with a flip of a switch. Weekend stay at South Lake Tahoe

We had a great experience renting this cabin. It is very close to the lake, in a nice and quiet neighborhood.
The cabin itself was clean, comfortable, well-stocked with all necessities, and had plenty of space.
The owner and the caretaker were both very friendly and accessible.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice place to stay while at South Lake Tahoe.

Great Place to Stay

We stayed here for two nights during the holiday week between Christmas and New Years. The home is clean, updated, and comfortable. There was plenty of room and to spare for our family of 5. The bathrooms were all clean and new, and the master bathroom was beautiful. We liked being in the quiet neighborhoods of South Lake Tahoe rather than in the noisy and super crowded resort areas. We appreciated all of the amenities (new flat-screen TVs w/ DVD players throughout, hot tub, etc.), but we probably liked the gas fireplace with its blower the best! We would be happy to stay here again. Thanks for a great accommodation.

Comfortable stay in Tahoe!

We found the house to be clean, comfortable and convenient. Jeanine was very easy to work with and seemed willing to work with us to make the stay work out great; i.e. affordable and accomodating to us bringing our dogs. The location of the home was super. Very easy to get to the places we wanted from. Having the back yard fenced was a great plus for our dogs. Will definitely consider this home as a place to rent again and share the renatal information with our friends.

Beautiful and comfortable house

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. The kitchen was nicely appointed, the hot tub a special treat, and the upstairs master bedroom had a fantastic deep tub. We really loved our stay. Very close to Stateline, and the owner, Jeanine, was very easy to get in touch with and responded to all of our questions. The house was super clean, and bright and airy. Will be back. Thanks for a great stay.

Tahoe getaway

The home was decorated nicely and was very comfortable. The back yard was fenced and great for my dog. The beds were comfortable except for the hide-a- bed downstairs. It was actually very difficult to pull out and was too big for the room. I believe a Day- Bed would be perfect for that area. Other than that, everything was as described in the listing description. The owner was very nice and was easy to get a hold of if there were any questions. The home is located close to downtown South Shore and close to shopping. The kitchen is well equipped. The only negative comment I have is that there was no dishwasher and laundry soap. We enjoyed our stay and definitely not disappointed with the home. We hope to repeat our stay again next year.

Also, the comment about the pullout sofa is a consistent one. I have purchased a queen bed and will put it in that room upon my return to the house in November, 2012. Measurements show it will be a perfect (albeit tight), fit. But a huge improvement over a pull out sofa!!
