There are many high spec residential developments surrounding Altea but none offer this extremely convenient location in the heart of Altea (you really don't need a car!) and the closeness to the sea (less than a stones throw!). There is everything you need in this home from home environment, which is suitable for young people, families and the older person whether for holidays or long term stays (over winter). Only a 30 second stroll from your front door into the beautiful Altea town, which retains it's charm and character, yet at the same time supplying a myriad of restaurants, cafes and shops of all types and prices for the international clientele. We can even offer transfers to and from the airport if required.

Altea: Because of its privileged location and brightness, ‘a village roasted by the sun’, according to Gabriel Miro; Altea has always attracted many bohemians. Artists, painters, sculptors and writers of many nationalities have been drawn to the town, making their home here and benefiting from the inspiration they receive from its unique setting. They in turn, have contributed to its rich cultural life, and the official title, ‘Cultural Capital of the Valencia Region’, has been bestowed on Altea. The University of Culture and Fine Arts is adjacent to the old town, and now attracts a whole new generation of artists. The University has a Theatre of Performing Arts, where distinguished ensembles appear regularly. Details of forthcoming events are available from the University. In support of its mantle as Cultural Capital, Altea is also a town with a special taste for antiques and hand-crafted goods.

I never heard of Altea before until a friend of mine decided to get married there. Five of us stayed in this apartment and we were not let down. The apartment is excellent. Right on the sea front in the heart of the new town. The old town is only about a 10 - 15 min walk uphill (taxi rank just around the corner from apartment if needed). The apartment was very clean and spacious. Large balcony with sliding doors and a great view. The seperate kitchen is spacious and very well equipped (everything you would need is in this kitchen). The bedrooms were excellent and down the corridor away from the sitting room. The apartment also has town bathrooms equipped with showers.I have to say I would never have visited Altea before only for the wedding, but Altea is a beautiful town, very relaxing and this apartment was the icing on the cake. I would definitely be back to Altea and this apartment. Thanks a lot

What a lovely appartment with all the amenities one could possibly need for a fun packed holiday. Altea is lovley and just relaxing in the evening with a drink on the balcony and listening to the sound of the sea was outstanding . The beach was a bit of a let down, it was lovley soft sand but the very rocky when gwetting in and out of the sea. However once in the sea it was well worth it.

The appartment is idealy located with the beach on your doorstep and Altea was lovley with plenty of shops/bars and resturants. We where only there for one week and im sure there was lots more to see and
do.

I have my sister and brother in law to thank for a wounderful relaxed week, who were most accomadateing and supportive after a bad start to the year. Thankyou both.

The hospitality was outstanding and the owners were most helpful and wellcoming.

Most amazing place & we felt privileged staying there for 10 days. My Husband, Goldie & I - a family affair of sorts. The view is gorgeous & listening to the lull of the surf beach lovely. Thank you so much for being so accommodating that 1st day we we arrived early. Your parents were so professional & lovely when they greeted us. Oh & those doors that open wide across the balcony & view...the best. We found we weren't just sitting on the balcony watching the view but also The Esplanade people, scuba diving in winter (brrr), the dogs being walked. Not to mention the vast choice of restaurants/shops. Your place definitely outshone our next place the Villa with pool in the Calpe Hills, both for comfort & excitement. I'm sure you've heard this before (given there's a whole world to explore) but I really mean it, we would love to stay there again at some point.

This apartment was perfect for us being two families sharing - very big and in very good order throughout. Dishwasher was a boon. View could not be bettered and as my children said - it was like living on a boat - being so close to sea. Lots of children friendly restaurants very closeby, and bars with children play areas to rear. Also added attraction of big theme and water parks, Terra Mitica, Terra Natura and Aqualandia etc. Jody had arranged transport from airport and Paul the driver was very friendly as were Jody's parents who greeted and and lived nearby. Too much to do in too little time.

Excellent Property

This was an absolutely stunning apartment, it was just like a home from home. Clean, well presented and very spacious. The large balcony has the Sun from first thing in the morning till early evening, and is great for eating out on. The owners Parents were very helpful and as Altea is not a large town, we bumped into them a fair few times while out for drinks or on the beach. We can recommend the Alaska bar, where Sue and Paul are great hosts. There is a great range of places to eat, and the walk up the hill to the Church square is well worth the effort. The train station is a 2 minute walk and we took the train into Benidorm (15 mins and only 1 euro 80 return) a few times to visit Benidorm's Old Town. The arport transfers were arranged for us and Paul who collected us was very good at pointing out the best places to eat and drink.
We would certainly recommend this property and have already passed the details onto friends and family. The only thing I would say on a bit of a down note was that the beach whilst clean is quite rocky and access into the sea is quite difficult without swimming shoes as Phil found out on the first day :o) We can honestly say that we had a great holiday and our only disappointment was coming home.
