Oceanside apartment located on the ground level at 10 Oceanic Street with a wonderful view of the ocean. You are just about 150 feet away from the ''sand between your toes''. The salt air and ocean breezes make this apartment refreshing and relaxing. You can sit on the front porch in one of the rockers and enjoy family and friends or just relax and read a book. You can drive up and park your vehicle and walk to everything. The local grocery store, restaurants, pizza, ice cream, discount store, beach rentals, surf shop, dress shops, worship services, fishing pier are all just a short walk away. You can get your exercise on the walking loop at the end of the street and walk around the Island. There is a park with swings and sliding boards, basketball goals, tennis courts for family fun within this walking loop. During the prime season, there is a life guard stand at the end of the street on the beach to make sure you and your family are safe while enjoying the water.

This apartment has been completely renovated and we hope that you will find it very enjoyable and a fun place to visit.

This apartment is located about 150 feet from the sand. You can park your vehicle and walk to the many shops, restaurants, local grocery, ice cream parlor and we have a beach rental supply shop on the corner. There is also a 'walking loop' around the island for pleasure as well as exercise. During the season from May to September, the life guard stand is right out front for your beach safety.

There are numerous activities availble to participate in - swimming, surfing including camps available, sailing, wind surfing, and boating if you choose.

There are 4 denominations of services on the island if you wish to attend any of the worship services. All within walking distance of the apartment.

Just sit on the front porch and relax and enjoy the ocean breeze and beautiful sunsets.

This is the 3rd Spring I have stayed in this rental property when visiting my son at UNCW. It's the best rental I have stayed in, and that's why we keep coming back. It is clean, nicely decorated, comfortable and in the best location. The owner is wonderful to work with, very responsive, and the relatives upstairs are so kind and helpful. It makes all the difference. I may just have to come back, even after my son has graduated!

This a great place and location. 10 minutes away from Whole Foods which is a plus for us. Steps from the beach which my son loved. I was so worried because my son has Autism and it is hard with change. He loved it and we got very lucky that our Surfers Healing event was right on our beach entrance. I came packed with everything and little did I know that the house provided almost everything. Next time I know and there will definitely be a next time. A big plus the Son lives upstairs just in case we needed anything and was so nice..just like everyone that we met there. HIGHLY recommend it and thank you.

Absolutely wonderful weekend getaway. This apartment was exactly what we were looking for! Nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. Very kid friendly, home away from home. Location, location, location! Steps to the beach and yet in the center of it all (grocery, bars, restaurants). Looking forward to staying many times in the future.

Perfect Getaway

I just returned from a wonderful stay at Wrightsville Beach - this apartment made my trip a great one! It is newly renovated and is absolutely charming and comfortable. It is very clean and quaint, beach chic. The photos depict it accurately and it is stocked with everything one would desire. The owner also offered to provide anything else I may find that I needed. I did some cooking while there (Harris Teeter grocery store & Tidal Creek Co-op are a quick car trip & the kitchen is conducive to preparing all meals if desired - new and well-working appliances).
Beach access is less than a 1/2 block down the street and the location is close to beach stores and places to rent anything for beach activities. It is also close to some great restaraunts (Tower 7, especially). I loved being so close to the beach and "the loop" is accessed at the head of the street at Sweetwater surf shop. Since my stay was during the winter, I had the beach practically to myself! What a treat!
I enjoy exercise while traveling, so this location is great for long walks and there is a gym nearby (car needed - Crest Fitness). Local surfing and kayaking are great options. I'm told the fishing is awesome.
The weather was rainy some days and I enjoyed the views and the DVD player immensely - total relaxation! There are also 2 CD players (& Ipod station), so I really loved listening to music and reading. The rockers on the front porch are great for hanging out, no matter what the weather. The wifi was also helpful when I needed it, but really enjoyed being "unplugged."
I cannot say enough good things about this apartment. I would definitely recommend it to friends/family and hope to stay there again ASAP!

Winter Stay

I stayed at this apt. in January, 2011 for almost a month. The renovations were well done and the apt. is very comfortable, clean and convenient and is as described. You can see the beach from one of the living room windows and the beach access is 1/2 block away. The owner's son lives upstairs and was available to answer questions as needed. There is a great gym, Crest Fitness, five minutes away by car. The local restaurants are very good and everything you need can be reached by car in 5-10 minutes and some are within a two block walk. I especially liked Tower 7 and South Beach restaurants, both within 2 blocks. Nice people, great spot. All I needed was warmer weather. But being able to see the ocean daily and walk on the beach was worth even the cold weather.
