Wonderful home and community

My family and I visited just after Thanksgiving 2012. We couldn't have had a better stay. The house was clean and well maintained. It had everything we needed to get started for the week including laundry soap, garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels etc. We didn't want for anything. The home looks exactly like the pictures and my kids absolutely loved staying in the Mickey bedroom. The beds were super comfortable to come home to after a long day at the parks.
The pool area was beautiful. We didn't use it much since we were at the parks all day, everyday that we were there, but I would have been nice to take a day off and swim. We also didn't use any of the amenities that were offered at The Windsor Palms, but it was nice to know that they had lots of other things for my kids to do if we hadn't been so involved in Disney activities.
The location of The Windsor Palms was perfect. It is really close to tons of shops and restaurants, but more importantly, it is SO close to Disney. We never hit any traffic getting to the parks because the location was the best around!
Also, it was nice that the property was in a gated community. We felt very safe being there and loved that there was a guard at the gate to check everyone in. We didn't have to check in each time because they give you a hang tag for your car to identify you each time you come in. It worked out perfectly for us.
One of the best parts of our stay was dealing with Jack, one of the owners. He responds to questions right away and allowed us to change our dates when a family issue came up. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to all my family and friends and won't hesitate to stay there again the next time I come to Disney!
