Apartment, self-catering, penthouse, two bedrooms, city centre, luxury, near Ramblas. Large terrace (70m) with seating for six at the dining table and other lounge chairs and cushions for casual seating. The terrace is private and can be accessed through the apartment. Fully fitted kitchen with washer-dryer, dishwasher, oven and grill, hob, large fridge freezer, coffee filter machine, kettle, toaster, juicer, etc. Bathroom with jacuzzi bath, bedrooms are spacious, master bedroom with king size bed, high ceilings and spacious dressing area. The penthouse is expensively furnished and has all mod cons - satellite wide screen television (English only) or Spanish digital TV, DVD and CD player, etc. We hope we have thought of everything and want to know if you are missing something. The parking space is in a private car park a two minute walk from the apartment. Parking is included in the rate but you must advise us if you are going to use the space.

Right in the heart of Barcelona, in the old city with most of the major tourist attractions walking distance. For further afield places your nearest metro stop is on the Ramblas: metro Liceu. As well as being incredibly central the location is also quiet and you will have no problem sleeping. Within easy walking distance are: Ramblas, Plaça catalunya, Gothic quarter, cathedral, Roman remains, Palau Guell, funicular train up to Montjuic, Boqueria market, the harbour and Maremagnum, aquarium, main shops, Paseo de Gracia, El Born. The beach is about 20 minutes walk.

  • BCN Loft Terrace

    Low season rates: 879 euros per week, minimum stay 3 Nights, per night: 1-2 people: 130 euros, 3-4 people 150 euros
    Mid Season rates for 3-4 people: 160 euros per night, 999 euros per week; 1-2 people: 140 euros per night, 899 euros per week.
    High Season rates are for 3-4 people: 190 euros per night, 1100 euros per week 1-2 people: 150 euros per night, 949 euros per week.
  • Seasons:
    Low Season is January 1st to Easter and November to Christmas.
    Mid Season from after Easter to end of June and from September 1st to October 31st
    High Season is July and August, the Mobile World Congress in February, Formula 1 Grand Prix, other major sporting and conference events, certain bank holidays.

    On enquiry with dates and number of people we will reply with an exact quote and explanation of the rate applied.

    PAYMENT PROCEDURE:
    Payment is: 50% with the booking by credit card or bank transfer, the rest on arrival in cash.

    BOOKING CONDITIONS/EXCEPTIONS:
    Please note that we do not accept all male or all female groups.
    Nor do we accept bookings from under 30s.
    No pets of any kind are allowed.
    By Spanish law you may not smoke in the apartment.
  • INCLUDED IN THE PRICE:
    Prices include cleaning, laundry, provision of sheets and towels, tax (18% VAT where applicable) electricity, gas and water.
    Please also note that the Catalan government may apply a tourist tax of one euro per person per night this year.
    We do not yet know how this will work but it is included in the above rates.

    EXTRA FEES:
    There is an obligatory extra 20 euro charge for being met at the apartment after 10pm, this rises to 30 euros after 11pm and after midnight to 50 euros.

A very elderly person may not be able to open the roof terrace skylight door. There is an alternative entrance by the communal staircase. Either way you would need to be capable of climbing a flight of stairs as there is no lift to the roof terrace.

Great loft apartment! Close to everything!

This wonderful loft apartment is just as advertised and more!
Comfortable and modern. 10-15 minute walk to the boqueria, and Ramblas. Great fruit and food at the boqueria. Close to many of the other attractions in Barcelona.
We arrived late due to an airport issue, and the owner's assistant was kind enough to wait for us, which was greatly appreciated.
Quiet at night for sleeping and the building was quiet as well.
We arrived in terrible weather, and then it was quite cool so the terrace was not usable to us. Too bad, as it was spectacular and very inviting!
We loved this apartment. The owner was wonderful- sent us a lot of information prior to our arrival. Even directions to the apartment in spanish for the taxi!
Would recommend this place highly! We had our 4 year old daughter with us, but would recommend being cautious with younger children and new walkers, as it is a loft and there are metal stairs.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

Luxury with style!

When you approach the property, it doesn't look spectacular, but it's what is inside that counts and it really counts!
Our party of 4 arrived a little late due to the train from the airport being a little slow. The man that met us was very nice and had waited some time for us but still greeted us with a smile and a happy "hello" and showed us everything we needed to know about the apartment.

The description of the property was spot on and we felt at home straight away. As we arrived late, we went out to get a takeaway pizza close by and found the area of "Raval" to be buzzing and busy with plenty of cafe's and restaurants in the vicinity.

The property itself was unique in it's layout which was a good thing. The rooftop terrace was a real bonus and we ate breakfast there most days as well as an evening meal when we turned on the various lights which gave us our own private setting away from the hustle and bustle of the Ramblas which is a 5 minute walk away.
Sky tv is provided and allows you a quick peek at what's happening back home as well as making sure you don't miss any of your favourite programmes if you can't bare to miss them.
The "Raval" itself is a compact area with a melting pot of races all happily going about business and welcoming guests into their shops and restaurants. Look out for the Giant black cat on the Rambla Raval!

The property is ideally situated for exploring Barcelona and allows peace and quiet at the same time. We found the property to be clean and well maintained throughout with just about anything you could want. A lift takes you to the apartment on the 3rd floor.

The "Boqueria" market is near the property - 5minutes and we bought a lot of fresh produce from there.
Restaurants are plentiful and range from cheap and cheerful to fancy and expensive. Our favourite was "Taller Tapas" of which there are a couple that we know of.

In future visits to Barcelona, we shall be making this property our number 1 call as it was just what we were looking for.
I have even recomended it to friends and family such was our liking for it.

Downsides? Perhaps a rail around the door of the rooftop terrace door would make it safer for families with young children. If over 55's are reasonably fit they can manage the small flight of stairs to the rooftop no problem. 2 of our party were in their mid 60's and managed without any bother.

All told a big thumbs up for the property.
