The Wai Nani Estate is a spacious waterfront villa where old-world craftmanship meets incomparable tropical location. A stream with waterfalls, Artesian spring-fed infinity edge swimming pools, resort quality water slides, diving platforms, half court basketball area, poolside bar are just a few of the recreational features of this unique estate.
Further Details:Located just north of Hilo, this villa is built on three levels. Artisan details are found in the interior columns inlaid with travertine tile, coffered ceilings that frame exotic wooden insets, granite counters on custom maple hardwood cabinets and interior and exterior floors tiled with oyster quartzite. Breathtaking views are seen from almost every room, and extensive resort-quality recreational features draw you outside.
The main level has its own kitchen, living area, laundry facilities, bedrooms and bathrooms. Tommy Bahama furnishings are found throughout, and the penthouse living area is an open concept design with panoramic Pacific Ocean views. Over 5000 feet of rope lighting accents the ceiling details and creates beautiful ambient illumination.
The upper level kitchen with stainless steel appliances, custom cabinets and granite counters overlooks the bordering stream, waterfalls and ocean. There is also a walk-in pantry and granite breakfast bar.
The unique design of the bedrooms, most with private baths and exterior access, allows for privacy for all residents within the home. Most of the bedrooms open onto a spacious oyster quartzite tiled lanai, and in each room coffered borders frame hardwood ceilings- each room with a different wood. Corner pillars are ornately inlaid with travertine tile. The master bedroom includes a soaking whirlpool tub and spacious separate shower.
Who wants to be inside when the weather is approximately 80 degrees year round? Whether entertaining yourself or hosting a waterfront island event, this estate offers something for everyone.
Artesian springs supply a seemingly endless supply of fresh water for the pool and waterfalls, averaging 30 to 40 gallons a minute. The pool is 55 feet in length and 11 feet deep, and the Astroturf topped high dive platform is 20 feet high, while the adjacent lower platform is 10 feet high.
A resort-quality travertine-tiled water slide empties into the grand travertine-tiled swimming pool, complete with petroglyph details on the bottom. A smaller water slide empties into the infinity edge kiddie pool.
The poolside cabana offers 30 linear feet of double-level counter. Want live music? There is also a 'stage' area for those times when only live entertainment will do.
