Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths (Sleeps 2-6)

This is a fabulous, chic city apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One bedroom has a queen size bed and 1 bedroom has a full size bed with a futon in the closet that can be placed in the living room to accommodate 2 additional guests. The apartment has a fully stocked kitchen, all linens provided, blow dryer, iron and ironing board.

There are free washer and dryers in the basement for guests to use.

Covered parking provided with garage door opener to guests.

Secure building. Need fob to get into building.

HDTV provided with stereo system and DVD collection.

Great balcony with water and mountain views.

2 bathrooms, one is a shower only with shower seat and the other is a shower/tub condo.

Great location and only blocks from the Portland Art Museum, one block from the Keller Auditorium and Morton's steakhouse.

Small but nice appartment, Unfortunatly, very bad management. I should have known from the start when the owner would not respond to my incury. It took three emails and calls to finely get a response.
I was on short notce so I didn't have options.
The oner is going cheep with the rental, such as single-ply toilet paper a bottle of body sope for all.
My biggest problem was getting my depost back.
She first told me that she had credit my credit card the depost.
Then she told me she could not because he's system would not allow her.
Then she told me that she will send me a check by mail and she didn't for two weeks.
After me threatening her with a stop payment from my bank, she sent it to me and charged me for the shipping.
Bad idea to stay with her if you want your depost back.

My wife, teenage son and I rented this apartment for a month. The apartment is wonderful, comfortable and easily accessible to public transportation. We used a car during our stay but probably could have done without most of the time. The apartment is very quiet and spacious enough that we could each find our own "space"when we wanted. There are free laundry facilities in the building and the neighbors were very nice.It's in a great part of the city. The owner is super. She really took great care of us and had great restaurant and sightseeing suggestions. When we visit Portland again, we will definitely stay here.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers
