    A $500.00 security deposit will hold your reservation. Deposits received first will be given preference for dates. The security deposit is non-refundable if there is a cancellation. Security deposits will be returned by mail within 7 days providing the cottage is left in a clean and neat condition and no damage has occurred.

    Full payment is expected 30 days prior to rental date (no exceptions). The security deposit of $500.00 is in addition to your rental amount and is refundable as mentioned above.

    Off season, we do not require a weekly stay, however, holiday weekends require a minimum of 3 nights.

We rented this house for our son's graduation weekend and it was wonderful. It was so much nicer than being in a hotel, we filled all the beds and were not cramped and the house is beautiful and beautifully designed, with so many wonderful amenities. We ate in a number of times with additional guests and it was no problem as the kitchen is well laid out and the whole house is perfect for entertaining, especially the extra outside seating. We also had a number of older relatives with us and the fact that you park on the same level as the main floor of the house made it very easy for them.
It is a beautiful spot on the lake, the views are gorgeous, and very convenient to Geneva and surrounding towns. Highly recommend staying here!

The pictures do not do this house justice! The cottage is beautiful and there were no amenities spared when this home was built! It is very clean and had more than enough space for the 8 of us. The view off the back patio is breathtaking and we enjoyed waking up to it each morning. The location was perfect and allowed us to take advantage of all the different wineries in the area! Thank you for helping make this weekend even more relaxing and enjoyable. We look forward to going back during the summer months!

Great Finger Lakes lake house!

We rented the Summer Wind lake house with our family during the week before our wedding in Lodi. It was relaxing and made for a perfect family vacation. The listing description for location, layout and amenities were very accurate, but the pictures fail to show how beautiful the lake house actually is. It was prettier and cleaner than we expected. The kayaks and paddleboat were fun for the kids and parents alike and the boat lift was convenient for getting on and off the lake with our boat. The modern amenities, including the grill and patio furniture, made eating outside very easy and enjoyable. And the sunsets over the lake are gorgeous. Jackie, the owner, was helpful and quick to respond. I would highly recommend this property for a family summer vacation. The location made it easy to visit Ithaca, Watkins Glen, and Geneva during the day, and have a quiet home to come back to at night. We loved Wegmans, Taughonnack Falls, Jerlando's, Finger Lakes Distillery, iNails, and Lamoreaux Landing, Red Newt and Atwater wineries.

We spent a very relaxing week here at the Summer Wind Cottage. The cottage has a nice layout and is extremely clean. My kids loved to swin, fish, and kayak in the lake. Even my 6 year old learned to kayak. The view is magnificent and the lake very serene, plus there is a beautiful sunset. The owner, Jackie, is a wonderful hostess and was very responsive to our needs. If you are looking for a quiet time in superb wine country, we highly recommend you stay here.

This finely appointed, immaculate home is masterfully designed to be the consumate respite or casual arena for family and friendly gatherings and celebrations.
