Sincerely, I can tell you that at the end of our stay no one wanted to leave.
I cannot say enough about this place. Often times pictures sell a rental and then you find out reality delivers something less than expected. Something we all risk when booking an unseen rental property. This place was just the opposite. The pictures were wonderful no doubt, but they do not do this place justice. Six of us stayed there this past week and it was absolutely amazing. The property was clean, comfortable and just plain beautiful. This place was made for entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor kitchen area. Hector the manager was extremely professional, accommodating and made sure were very happy at all times. Very responsive and often times he would simply check in with a quick text to ensure everything was good. Love this place and will definitely be back again in the future! Thank you Hector...well done!
My friends and I recently stayed here on our vacation. Normally I don't focus a ton on where I am sleeping on a vacation. This spot was amazing. It's even better then the pictures posted. Staying here made our experience in Puerto Rico. Hector was great and helpful with any tips we needed for the area. Seriously my greatest travel experience so far. Beautiful area to visit and beautiful place to stay. I miss that view already. If you want a great place to stay look no further this is it.
I recently stayed at this property for the second time. We call it the party house because when we stay there we have so much fun. I have gone with my family of four twice. The property is very spacious and is so entertaining. The house has a nicely situated private pool right off the outdoor open kitchen area. There is plenty of relaxing seating, hammocks, pool table and bbq grill all out in the open space there was also a small basketball "court" that my son absolutely loved. The house it self reminded me of my stays, when I was a kid in Puerto rico, that's why I love it so much. the main living area is so nice because it has many windows and doors that all open in the morning to let in the light and breeze its a wonderful way to start your day there on the balcony with a cup of coffee. On the Carabali property you can horseback ride, rent ATV's, go for a long walk and swim in the river. It was also a very short drive to the beach. I can really go on and on about how much fun we had. If you stay there you must find a local Panaderia and pick you up some of the PR bread to eat, while you drink your coffee in the morning if you really want to experience a truly perfect Puerto Rican vacation. Thank you all for allowing us to stay at your home again. It was awesome.
Great place to go on vacation. The property was amazing. Exellent for relaxing and have quality time with the family. We hope to return again during the next summer.
It was easy to locate the property. As soon as we arrived, we were all in amazement. The decor and amenities were far more than we expected and the views of the mountains are breathtaking. Excellent for relaxing and quality time with family. There was never a dull moment. We truly enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend this property. We loved having a private pool and an open terrace on the first level. The property is very well kept. We look forward to coming back soon!
I depended on the reviews for my choice in booking this house, so our family wanted to do the same! This was so much better than an all inclusive resort..it just gave us so much more in the culture and life in Puerto Rico. The house is nice, and the accomodations are more than adequate. BUT the big draw is the outdoor kitchen and the beautiful surroundings. We cooked outside most nights and even for breakfast. I used this site for many tips on where to go, what to do..so I feel it important to give the same information. Here goes: Carabali is very easy to find from the San Juan airport. We did have problems with the gate and getting in because it was very late. Hector rectified this quickly though and the rest of our stay was without a hiccup. We ate in Luquillo at the kiosokos, this is fun and should be experienced but the souvenir shopping is limited. The cleaner restaurants are numbers 1-33 or so. After that, the health codes don't seem to be met. But there is something for everyone there. The beach behind them was not one we enjoyed, it stank from dumpsters and had a lot of trash. There is a beach in Luquillo that is VERY nice and just a few more minutes up the road. We also visited Fajardo and went to the Seven Seas beach there. It was fun to see the locals and how they enjoyed a beach day. Carabali has the horse rides and we enjoyed these. The food in the restaurant there is good but a little pricey. Drinks are great. The kids ziplined up the road from the house at a place called El Yunke, they LOVED it and learned a lot about the rainforest. We went to Old San Juan one day. Take the ferry over to the Bacardi Factory, there is a restaurant right as you get off of the ferry that is very good too. Rich's up the hill by the Wyndham resort had a beautiful view and was the best meal we had in PR. We shopped at Amigo's for groceries (don't bother with Wal-Mart, it doesn't have produce or fresh meat) . The kids couldn't get enough of the outdoor sound system, pool and just being outside at the house. We went on an East Islander snorkeling cruise to Culebra, this was the highlight of the trip and is worth every penny. Culebra is breathtaking. Hector and Carmen were helpful with everything and very quick to respond with questions. We also went to Las Playlas in Luquillo for the natural slides, it was FUN beautiful amazing, and cheap! The house is perfect for all these activities, very central location! Teens loved it, adults too!
