Ashland Townhome Rental Photos and Description

2 BEDROOMS, ONE AND 1/2 BATHS, SLEEPS 6

Beautiful, sumptuously decorated two bedroom home, located in Talent which is 5 minutes to the Ashland Plaza. We book up fast for the season so reserve now!

Relax on the deck and take in the mountain view. We have a lovely landscaped back yard for maximum enjoyment of the starry summer nights. The yard adjoins a large pasture area which has a rural feel and permits the unobstructed view of the mountains. The yard is fully fenced and we love pets!!

Our home is full of country charm and modern conveniences with a fully equipped cook's kitchen, flat panel tv, games and videos. Our upscale decor is thoughtful and imaginative and is highlighted with original art and decorative items collected locally and from around the world.

The sleeping arrangements are extremely flexible--cozy enough for a romantic getaway but easily able to accommodate families or small groups. We can sleep as many as 6 with 2 BR (one queen, one king which can be configured as two twins) and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. We provide premium towels and bedding and the sofa in the living room is the world's most comfortable sleeper (American Leather Comfort Sleeper).

Our location is a perfect base for enjoying the many attractions of Ashland, Jacksonville and the Rogue Valley. The Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland and the Britt Festival in Jacksonville are just minutes away, but don't miss the restaurants, Applegate Valley wineries, river rafting, fishing, hiking and numerous other outdoor activities in the Rogue Valley!

Please note that any reviews prior to January 2015 relate to our former listing on Dark Hollow Road. We are retaining them on the website since Tulipan Court offers similar decor, many of the same amenities and the same management and ownership team which is committed to maintaining our five-star rating.

Come and see us!

Three night minimum for weekend stays May 1-September 15. Four night minimum for Thanksgiving.

About Rhonda Lillington

My husband, playwright Octavio Solis, has been working with OSF since 1996. We have recently relocated to the Rogue Valley from San Francisco and are now living in our former vacation rental on Dark Hollow Rd. We are pleased to offer this new vacation rental and look forward to seeing many of our previous guests as well as those who will be staying with us for the first time.

Rhonda Lillington purchased this townhome in 2013

Why Rhonda Lillington chose Ashland

We fell in love with the area the first time we attended the Festival in 1991 and are thrilled to have a home here! Of course we love the theater and music scene, but we greatly enjoy the natural beauty and outdoor activities offered by the Valley. We lived busy lives in the city and are especially relishing our home as a country retreat.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Dear Guests,

The reviews prior to January 2015 relate to our former vacation rental on Dark Hollow Road which is now our full time residence. Our new vacation rental at Tulipan Court is still very pet friendly and features the same attention to decor, fully equipped kitchen, premium linens and other amenities as the Dark Hollow house and has the same management and ownership. We are are continuing to include the reviews below for your reference on these aspects of our listing. We hope to see you soon!

Great get-a-way House

  • 4 of 5

A group of ladies and myself (total of 7 of us) spent 4 nights here as a get-away & theater weekend. We found the house very lovely, and the quiet, country setting could not have been more perfect. While set apart out in the wine county of So Oregon, the house is very easily accessible to Ashland, Jacksonville and Medford. The loft was a bit of a surprise with a ladder & mattresses on the floor (we thought it was separate from the other bedrooms and were complete beds), but we were able to adjust just fine. The house was well equipped for our needs, and we very much enjoyed the quiet, retreat like setting. Even enjoyed getting to know the animal visitors (horse & goat next door, doe & 2 fawns, quail & pheasants). Would love to book again!

Private Cabin for Family

  • 5 of 5

Our family really enjoyed this cabin. It is close to Ashland for the Shakespearian Festival but also close to white water rafting on the Rogue River.

The interior is over the top. Nice artwork, beautiful rugs...need an extra blanket? How about a lovely quilt or four?

There is more room than you think. There are two bedrooms upstairs and a loft is in one of the rooms with two twin beds for small kids. Down in the basement is a pull out couch that makes a comfortable cool room to sleep in.

Outside it is all fenced in to keep the deer out. They are planting fruit trees which would be great for our next visit. Next door are the sweetest pair....a horse and his buddy, Cocoa the goat.

Charming rental

  • 5 of 5

We spent four nights at the cabin and had a great time. The location is serene. The cabin is very comfortable and has all of the amenities possible. Rhonda, the property manager, is top notch. Location was great to get to Ashland, Medford and Jacksonville. We will likely book again.

Peaceful & Lovely

  • 5 of 5

This was our second visit to the property, and we were thrilled to be able to return! We love the peace, quiet and comfort of the cabin. Our dogs love running in the yard, and we enjoy the privacy afforded us there. We look forward to staying again next year :)

Made us want to move to Medford

  • 5 of 5

My husband, myself and our two Great Danes loved this place. The house is cozy, it has a wonderful, fully fenced yard for our Danes to run around in. The place next door had a horse and three goats that would come to the fence every day to hang out with our dogs. The location is outside the "city" but not so far out to be an inconvenience. The house was cozy, clean and nicely decorated. The area is very quiet, so quiet in fact, that the first few nights I had trouble sleeping. We went up to Crater Lake (had alot of snow there) and Oregon Caves. We enjoyed the area so much that we are actually considering relocating to the area. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place for you.

Charming, cozy, thoughfully appointed home in Southern Oregon

  • 5 of 5

We are a small group of adults with 3 large dogs who sojourn to Ashland every year for good theater, awesome wineries, good food and drink and fun. This was our first time using VRBO and boy, do we feel lucky that we chose to stay in this home! It was clean, spacious, well-appointed and had everything we needed, even a washer/dryer. We really appreciated the welcoming bottle of wine, from a local winery. Our dogs LOVED the lovely, fully fenced yard and the Chuck-it was a definite bonus! Our boy dog had great fun meeting the horse next door :-) The beds were wonderfully cozy, the linens and towels are abundant and of excellent quality. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need.

We took a day trip to Oregon Caves and it was spectacular! We have decided that our future trips to Ashland will be based on the availability of this lovely home in addition to theater tickets.

Many thanks for making this our best, most comfortable, most relaxing trip to Ashland ever!
