It is secluded and private, yet convenient to get to all the places we enjoy, and the drive into town is absolutely beautiful. Although there are very few neighbors, the ones we have are friendly and treat us like family.
We especially enjoy the serenity of hiking around the mountain, picking blackberries or viewing wildlife. After a long day of kayaking or hiking some trails, we can relax in the hot tub to take in the view or sit in the rocking chairs on the porch or gaze out the window from the living room or bedroom. No matter which we choose, it is like heaven on earth!
Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home with us! The view was so amazing, it was like a postcard! This was just what we needed to refresh and revive ourselves! I want to reserve a week for next fall as well! Can't wait to come back!
What a view...when we arrived there was snow covering the mountains and the house. The cabin was very nice and we had a great time. Beautiful sunsets and there was still quite a bit of color in the trees. Bryson City is a nice centralized location. We visited Dillsboro, Franklin, Cherokee and Maggie Valley during our stay. Us girls like to shop...Had a nice breakfast at Everett Street Diner and lunch at Nate and Nick's in Bryson City. Both had very good food, friendly staff, good prices and fast service. We didn't ride the train but the town was getting ready for the "Polar Express" The road to get to the cabin is definately a "Mountain" road, so be prepared. By the end of the week we were driving it with ease. Sad to say we didn't see any wildlife while there. Only crows and ladybugs. The cabin had everything you needed and the garage was nice so we didn't have to worry about scraping the snow or frost off the car.
We had such a relaxing time. The house was wonderful, the views were the best, the fire pit and hot tub were perfect. With the loft bedroom there wasn't a ton of privacy, but that wasn't a huge concern for us.
The road to get to the cabin was A thrill ride for sure but sooo worth the view.
We enjoyed our stay at your cabin. We did a lot of hiking during the day and got back in time for the amazing sunset each evening! The morning view was just as awesome!
Enjoyed the hot tub in the evening also.
This cabin was everything that we had hoped for from the pictures and reviews we had read, and much, much more. Words can't describe sitting out on the deck at night and the view of the stars and galaxies that never seemed so visible at home. Words can't describe the view of the morning fog settling above the ground with the mountains as a back drop. Words cannot describe the radiant red glow shooting through the small clouds at the setting of the sun. Words cannot describe how much the cabin and all of it's decor made us feel welcome and home. Words cannot describe how much we look forward to returning for another great weekend in the NC mountains!
The cabin was very well maintained and well stocked with linens, towels, et al. The view was spectacular. Hot tub most enjoyable. Beautiful sights to see nearby. The nearby town has plenty of places to eat. It's very roomy and would be quite comfortable for six+ people.
My husband and I spend four wonderful days at this cabin. Stocked with all we needed, beautifully decorated, quiet spot with only hummingbirds to watch you and the views were magnificent and different each morning and evening. Even the ride to town was full of natures beauty.
