Byron Plantation exudes comfort and casual elegance, the Queenslander style home sits on a ridge with sweeping views from the large wrap around verandah. The house has a modern eclectic vibe with a unique art collection and stylish 20th century classic danish furniture so you won’t find any country floral or chintz here!
There are four bedrooms, each can be configured with 2 single beds or one deluxe king size bed. There are also two large comfortable sofas that fold out to double beds.All of which comes with quality bed linen and fluffy towels. The house is fully equipped with a state of the art bluetooth Bose sound system in every room . In the Comfortable lounge area there is a large Plasma TV with foxtel and a DVD player. And no homestead would be complete without a cosy log fire and timber floors throughout – adding a touch of country charm to the occasion.
The two large bathrooms comprise separate baths, showers and double vanities, we supply high quality local toiletries for you to sample,perfect for indulging in some ‘me time’ in a relaxing bubble bath.
And for the Masterchef in the group, the spacious gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances and Granite benches, and stocked with all the gourmet essentials to cook up a storm. We also supply a goody basket full of local products for you to try and a couple of bottles of wine to get you started. If a quintessentially Aussie style feast is called for then there is also a hooded BBQ that you can throw a prawn, steak or snag on – certain to be a real crowd pleaser. And remember our chooks are happy to supply you with fresh eggs for breakfast and you can collect herbs from our garden.
For those lazy hot summer days when even going to the beach seems like a chore, then why not just stay put and plunge into the cool water of the 17 metre long swimming pool. A wonderful luxuriously long pool it’s ideal for laps, lazing or lounging. And to top it all off, the pool and surrounding deck and pergola have ocean and hinterland views.
