Something Special

We wanted somewhere special to stay for a six week vacation in Manhattan and found it. We have been regular visitors usually staying 5 to 7 days in hotels but wanted somewhere we could call “home” to maximise our extended New York experience.
The Loft apartment ticked all the boxes. Perfect location near Union Square park and market, easy access to the subway, proximity to every service imaginable, great restaurants , coffee shops, delis, Trader Joes and Wholefood Market,. Harriette, the owner, met us on arrival and provided us with local suggestions for restaurants, places of interest and where to buy specialty food items. Her husband Marc was equally welcoming and as a coffee lover, guided us to the best stores for our coffee beans. If we had any questions about the apartment, Harriette was always accessible and helpful, but never intrusive.
The apartment was spotless and spacious with quality furnishings and accessories, including a greatly appreciated espresso machine, and an Apple Mac desktop and iPad to make full use of the free Wi-Fi. The bedroom furnishings were premium quality and with extremely comfortable mattresses and as the bedrooms are located at the rear of the apartment, traffic noise was minimal. The kitchen was fully equipped with an extensive range of quality equipment and utensils, and the spacious living area benefitted from the high ceilings and light from the large windows overlooking Broadway.
Everything lived up to our expectations from the photographs and descriptions that were sent to us. We will definitely return.
