A third generation home, SonjoWasi is located in the historical “centro” of San Miguel de Allende. It is a one of a kind property due to its centralized location and huge gardens.

SonjoWasi was remodeled using a mix of colonial and contemporary to bring the past to the present.

The home has 4 large bedrooms and 5 bathrooms all with their own personal touch. Enjoy the experience of sitting next to the fire place in the main living room or enjoy a movie in the media room. Enjoy breakfast (included) in the the spacious kitchen or set up a formal dinner in the gorgeous dining room.

Relax in the expansive terraced gardens that promote peace and tranquility. The swimming pool is also available for your enjoyment as is the view from the terrace during an afternoon cocktail.

We are also ready to host event in this magical place. Many weddings, corporate dinners, and concerts have already taken place in SonjoWasi.

The property includes breakfast for 8, maid / cook, and gardeners. The pool is heated by solar and usually maintains a temperature of 75 degrees. There is filtered water throughout the house, free calls to the USA, WiFi for your internet needs, and cable TV. If you are traveling by car there is also parking for your convenient.

Great Place!

We stayed here 3 couples plus a baby. The house is beautiful it has everithing you would need. The beds are comfy, and every room has a closet and a bathroom. If you think that the pictures are nice, well you will get more once you arrive!!! The property was clean, the maid/cook was a really nice person, and whatever inconvenience you could have its fixed right away!! We used the grill for some burgers!! we made hot dogs and marshmallows at the bonfire! and we definetly used the pool!!
SMA is a very nice town, but staying here made it nicer!! We had great time in a great place!
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers

Estuvimos tres noches cuatro días en Sonjowasi y nos hubiéramos quedado a vivir. La casa es hermosa, lo que te muestran las fotos se queda corto, cada rincón esta lleno de historias. El jardín y la alberca son una cosa encantadora. El servicio es excelente y muy amable. Uno no sabe si quedarse ahí disfrutando la casa, o salir a caminar a SMA.
Definitivamente volveremos!

Our visit to SonjoWasi was wonderful. Juan, you have an excellent taste, you are truly are a good host.

Not only the property is in itself fabulous and the staff is polite and helpful, the house is replete with details that makes it so cozy that is hard to say goodbye at the end of the stay.

Sonjowasi vacation...PERFECT!

We were looking for a relaxing getaway with culture and it was delivered. From the house, staff, amenities and beautiful town..our family continues to talk about the trip. THe house is decorated with great attention...making every turn worth further inspection. The heated pool was a great hit with the kids as was the elabroate grounds. The meals prepared by the staff made me long for more authentic Mexican food. The location of the property is convinient to all points of interest, i.e. culture, shopping, and outdoor activities.

San Miguel in Oct is a perfect time to visit. Beautiful weather and so many offerings no matter what one's interest.

I highly recommend Sonjowasi to another looking for a relaxing getaway, and experience Mexico in very fine fashion!
